This Steakhouse is a wonderful place to eat at it's located in Dunn North Carolina it's takeout order dine-in food that you would enjoy.Food: 5/5
So we have been going to this Western Sizzling for years and it was always a decent place to eat. Since the new owners took over, the quality of food has been going downhill and we stopped going for dinner. Then this morning we decided to try their breakfast buffet. It was $12.99 and it was pretty rough. The scrambled eggs were brown and the sausage was terrible. We even had a piece of link sausage that was raw in the middle.The waitress was nice and kept our waters filled but the food was very low quality and we won’t be going back. It cost me $41.00 for three people to pick over the food and barely eat anything.
Food was mediocre to be honest. Salad bar was an additional $4.99 as house salad was not part of the meal. That being said, our server was AMAZING!!!!!!! She was the best part....but we will not be back....Food: 2/5
I had not been to a Western Sizzlin in years. Our friends told us that this location was under new management and that they recently enjoyed dinner and the breakfast buffet. We went with them yesterday and it was delicious. They had a huge variety of food, including desserts. We were the first to arrive at 8am and had to wait a little while for the buffet to open, although their signage says they open at 8am. They seated us and got us drinks while we waited. We will look forward to going back.
I had an 8 ounce Sirloin steak with a baked potato and a salad with desserts from the dessert bar. Banana pudding was great. Good and cool. I asked the waitress if I could get some gravy and sour cream from the salad bar and she said she would get it for me. That, is a good attitude right there. I left a good tip. I will be going back for sure.
Always happy with this restaurant until today! Wait staff was wonderful BUT heavy perfume or any perfume should be discouraged, if not forbidden when you are providing food service. The fragrance was so heavy that you couldn't smell the food & that affects the taste! I hope management can affect a change so this doesn't happen in the future!
First time visiting. Food was ok. Typical buffet-style food. Plates were way too small and had to keep using multiple plates for food. Dessert cakes very skimpy in size. Chicken and mac good but not too impressed with other items. Owner and waitress nice. Not sure if would visit again. Food: 4/5
This is a very clean restaurant and the service was great! We came at the end of breakfast, which is probably why it wasn't that good to us. Lunch was a lot better with healthier options as well. Thank y'all. Vegetarian options: You gotta figure it out yourself, but it's definitely possible, I think. IDK if there's pork fat in their beans. Pork is unclean but tastes good. It's a big temptation for me. Soooo bad for us. Parking: The parking is clean and easy.
I've never used emojis on a review before, but this place is from the food to the service. Top notch. I am visiting a friend in Erwin and he told me we had to try Western Sizzlin, and I'm glad I did. My 3 favorites were the hamburger steak, Mac n cheese, and meat loaf. Frances was our server and she is a southern belle. The owner came over to our table to check on us. If I was forced to give constructive criticism, the intercom is quite loud and can be startling at times.
Menu Board is very confusing, do you get the salad bar, hot bar? If you add a salad bar apparently you can only eat salad nothing else on the bar. The staff running the front where you pay were less than friendly and not able to explain the menu board and prices. I ordered a chopped steak, and added a salad bar which I assumed was everything up there. It was only the salad. Had to go back up to add the hot part for me and my husband and it was $28 to add the hot part to the meal I already purchased and the salad bar I already added. Food on the bar wasn't even good. It was old cold food that had been out all day. We were there at 730pm. Restrooms had no toilet paper and were very dirty.
