WWU's National Residence Hall Honorary is as a resource and a support system for residents committed to leadership, academics, service, and recognition.
As an organization of student leaders living in the residence halls, we are committed to practicing and encouraging excellence in leadership and academics, community service, and recognizing outstanding members in our halls by maintaining an active presence in our communities.
We organize community service projects for members and residents to participate in, promote recognition through Of The Month awards (OTMs), and we celebrate accomplishments of the halls and hold an annual Hall of the Year banquet (or HOTY for short) where we honor the achievements of that hall for that year.
How can you become a member?
NRHH is open to all students who have lived on WWU's campus for at least a quarter and have demonstrated leadership or involvement in campus life, along with a 2.5 GPA.
To join, inquire at your Hall Council's info nights or meetings, or apply online at the NRHH website!
How can you be more involved?
As an official NRHH Representative, you will need to attend all Hall Council meetings as well as NRHH meetings, and remain in contact with the NRHH Vice President! Representatives promote and coordinate the completion of OTM's (Of the Months), and coordinate a Hall of the Year Committee. NRHH membership is not a requirement for this position, only selection by your hall.
NRHH is an amazing organization and a great place for leadership opportunities.
The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is the premiere honorary supported by the leading international organization advocating for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. NRHH strives to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing. It ensures the advancement of member chapters through resource sharing, programming, and leadership development opportunities to contribute and support the vision of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, Incorporated.
