The park is great, but the fact that Grants Pass Police Department doesn’t enforce the 9 pm closing time and allows people that refuse to contribute to the well being of society to pitch tents and live there is absurd. So the City of Grants Pass causes this park to get a 2. Playground: Nice and new. But the homeless vagrants take away from the appeal. Restrooms: Bathrooms close to playground. But have become a place for the homeless junkies to shoot up. Picnic area: No tables but there is a big clean field to throw a blanket down.
This park was very nice, big feild and nice play structure, however there was lot of homeless individuals around. Many in tents but a few were sleeping on or near the play structure. I empathize for these people so even though it is a nice park there is many other in town to enjoy if you would like.
Homeless people have tent set up in the park and not that it's a bad thing but I can't believe they have a specific trash disposal in the bathroom for needles!
The playground looks nice, but the parking situation is trash, and there are tents in the grassy areas.
Grate park for kids to play but the amount of tents popping up makes it hard to enjoy
i love the new playground, although i did play on the old one as far back as 1982 lol
Homeless and definitely scetchy behavior. Not safe anymore.
Homeless people have tents set up and bathroom was flooded..
Use to love this little out of the way park when I was young now they have some sort of construction going on. I'm interested to see what comes of it. I'll update my review then.
Took down much of the park playground & swings.
