Location is fine. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Spacious. I would suggest to update the shower curtain. Other than that room was nice. Pool was decent size. Hot tub enjoyable. Hood selection for the amenities. >>>Guests are messy!!!! Leaving wrappers of food on the pool premise. Large community of mothers all Round the hotel with 7+ kids each. The kids running around. Playing, screaming. While in my room, kids kept on running in the hallway and kicking the door at 11pm, midnight, 2, 3am. I called the front desk and was told they wiuld get someone to walk the hallways. In the morning I was told they can't control families and even more if they can't control their kids. I don't want to ding the hotel but the sound outside of the hotel room can be heard. So ‍ Just requesting fellow guests yo be considerate. I do like the bar/restaurant next to the hotel. Great ambiance. Noteworthy details: Not sure how you would fix this... Sound proof rooms. Or if you can somehow asks guests to be respectful. ‍
This hotel looks nothing like the photos. The restaurant was closed, there are no amenities. The jacuzzi wasn't working, the carpets were dirty. There's not much at all close to the hotel, just one restaurant that closes at 9pm. They are very disorganized. When I checked in they sent me to a room that was already occupied. This is advertised as a 4 star hotel. This is an upgraded motel. Nothing more.
It's a nice hotel. Very comfy. The room I stayed in was way in the back and took quite some time to find it. $75 deposit for every night you stay is dumb. That's the main reason I won't stay again. No breakfast in the mornings sucks. But it is clean. Rooms: The rooms were very nice. Room service doesn't come unless requested a day in advance tho Walkability: My room was far and the doors near to it didn't open from outside so always had to enter from the front and walk all the way to the back. Annoying!
Very disappointed. I’ve never been to a hotel where the cold water faucet didn’t work. Burned my hands every time I washed them. Stains ALL over the rug and carpet. Cigarette burns on the desk. The front desk staff was kind, the only reason they don’t deserve a one star. But do not recommend staying there. For the price you can stay at a nice clean Marriott
The pictures look beautiful but the hotel disappoints. There is a thermostat on the wall, but to turn the AC on you have to go to the old unit under the window. The AC is loud and has a whistling sound. The shower drains slowly, so be prepared to be standing in ankle deep water as you shower. The pool and jacuzzi were closed for renovations.
I don't understand HOW in the world this hotel is still considered 4-stars. Truly baffling. 2.5-stars at best. Of course, the jacuzzi was out of service, and there was a private swim class?! in progress when we wanted to use the pool. There are supposedly a few rooms that have been 'updated', but we sure did not stay in one. Our room was worse for wear, including a very small and outdated television. Do not stay here if you are expecting anything more than your typical, garden-variety Hampton Inn.
This hotel was... all right. I picked this hotel because I got a good deal through the app Hopper and because I wanted a hotel with a pool. It was September, and the pool was not heated, so I lasted about 20 minutes. The hot tub was also broken. It wasn't like that was my only reason to come to New Jersey, but since that was a reason I picked the hotel, it was a bit of a bummer. I will say the frigid water was great for my dad's knee! The layout of the hotel is kind of confusing. The staff don't explain it well, but someone finally did and we found our room. It was underwhelming. 4-star hotel like it's advertised seemed a bit of a stretch. Some outlets in the bathroom didn't work, and neither did the refrigerator. I didn't even think there was one in the room, so we'd brought a small cooler for drinks, but it was disappointing to find it there but broken. When we were there, the hotel TV advertised a hotel makeover starting sometime in 2023, so there is hope! If I was ever in the area again - I don't think I ever would be, but if - I would be willing to give it one more try to see what things are like after that. By no means was my experience awful; it would absolutely be deserving of a second chance.
Everything was so clean! The hallways the room. I was very impressed even the hallways smelled slightly scented but not overly. Several complaints: 1 the man that checked me in said I had a complimentary breakfast and it wasn’t true. 2 Oh and I had a connected room blocked by a deadbolt which left me uneasy! 3 the dog next door barked until 10pm. I’d definitely come back and make sure I remedied these 3 things up front.
We booked a junior suite. The neighbor at the hotel had a barking dog for almost three hours straight. Loud, incessant, and NON-STOP. The hotel policy is that dogs should not be left unattended, which clearly it was because nobody would answer the door. The management first refused to admit that the dog was barking, and for three hours, we recorded the barking. They offered us a change in room, but given a long travel and under the weather, and the fact that we did Nothing wrong, asked that they be moved. Management refused, said we were complaining, so we should move This is like a person complaining about loud music, and the person who is hearing the noise should move. Long story short, management doesn’t care and continued to make this our problem. The manager offered us a room upgrade, but the dog continues to bark. Danielle
The front desk attendants were lovely. The hotel was in decent to poor condition. Overflowing trash cans, hallways that looked dirty, our room had stains on the chair and there was hair on the bathroom ceiling. The fridge didn't work either. Just not a good experience at all and the place feels run down. Thankfully we were only here for a night.
