Beautiful park with many open fields, playgrounds and a well mixed play disc golf course. There are some very hard wooded tight holes but they balance it out with open field long shots. I would play this course again next time I am in the area.
Beautiful park. Amazing view. Kind grounds keeper. But some guy with a group of young boys through me off with his attitude and eye rolls as I drove past and spoke; was trying to get to the area near the water. BESIDES THAT I feel this space is definitely worth coming to to enjoy the open areas and hopefully experience the swinging bridge. The grounds keeper was a cool dude... he knew about my hometown when we had a brief convo. He said a couple was getting married n asked if I move my car. I didn't mind so he could close off the area to traffic. I chose not to stay bc 1- it was too far to walk back in heels 2- i ain't trust mr. Attitude. 3- I needed to eat. Lol Go visit. Bring your dog. Have fun! OR GET MARRIED!!!! definitely the perfect view.
Beautiful hidden gem. Good trails for hiking or biking, great fishing, sightseeing and swimming along the Catawba River. Can also put your tubes in the river here and tube down river. Beautiful outdoor chapel, beautiful park grounds, soccer fields, pavilion, clean restrooms, just a fantastic park.
Absolutely gorgeous! Went for a wedding and had a great time. If I hadn't been wearing heels I would've been wandering around just enjoying the land. Luckily the inside is just as awesome. The bar area is like having a drink inside a humidor, with beautiful cedar walls and aroma, couches, leather armchairs, and lots of natural light. We played pool in the next room over which also had a few arcade games and high top tables. A group of us plan to go in on renting the place for a weekend as soon as we're past the holidays.
Nice park with a few short hiking trails. Worth stopping by.
Very peaceful and nice place to take the kids away from the busy more known parks in Rock Hill that are typically overcrowded. Love the fact that you can enjoy nature walks and the seclusion from this park. They have a playground and nice picnic area for the whole family! Definitely will be going back
We had a great time at our cub scout Gold Rush, the park is beautiful
Highly suggested to families, dog walkers, hikers, runners, athletes, wild children you can do it all here. Soccer fields, fishing areas near the Catawba, kayak/tube launch, trails through the woods that go for a long ways and wind them rough the woods. Big fields for exploring, covered areas for reserving /w big coal grills. Playground for the youngins and much more.
Very clean beautiful atmosphere, Parks always welcome and the energy there is phenomenal with access to the river..
Awesome park well maintained, good playground, had soccer games when we arrived. Concessions where open while there, was also a vendor selling ICEES. We rode bike all the ways down to the river, than thru the forest and back. Over all great place for family and kids, pet owners, or just nice place to park.
