This is a nice neighborhood park. Facilities include a baseball diamond, basketball and tennis courts, a large playground with swings and multiple slides, and a restroom. There are individuals picnic tables for general use on a first-come-first-served basis, as well as a covered picnic area for large groups for which reservations may be required. This is also a good place to take peaceful walks along cement trails. Playground: There are basically two complete sets of playground equipment, only a couple dozen feet apart. One playground for older kids and another substantial playground for slightly younger children. Restrooms: Restrooms provide no privacy when using the stainless steel toilet. There is one women's and one men's restroom available. Picnic area: There are individuals picnic tables for general use on a first-come-first-served basis, as well as a covered picnic area for large groups for which reservations may be required.
It's so unkept. The gras isn't mowed, it's full of weeds and it looks trashy. I've never been to a park that was so unwelcoming.
Very dreary Sunday afternoon, not only for me but also for this park that once was even more beautiful than it is even now... Playground: Playground wasn't being used by any children whatsoever. Restrooms: The men's bathroom doesn't have a lock or even a catch to hold the door closed or anything. If you have to go #2, you run the risk of somebody, very likely a child, walking directly in to the bathroom with nothing to block them from seeing you... No privacy whatsoever...
Nice park, suitable for all ages.
It’s nice but that drinking fountain has high chlorine and a high TDS test. I sell filtration for a living. I would not allow my child to drink that water
The playground is hot, it's dirty, most of the play things are metal that is super heated by mid morning. The homeless congregate there, not that I blame them, the park part is nice and shaded, but it doesn't feel safe, even mid day.
I love the play structures just not the types of people. Definitely a place the homeless hang out. But that's not even what was really bothersome. Teens like to go hang out at this park when they get off school I have nothing against teens in general, I have a 15 yr old myself. They are rude, obnoxious and scream out obscenities to each other. Block slides so my 1 and 3 year olds can't even play. Make out and do inappropriate things. This has been on more than one occasion. I thought I was going before school let out and then remembered that district gets out early on Thursdays. Normally it's a nice park
2 Jungle Gyms and Swing area. Baseball Diamond and Tennis Court. Can't use the baseball Diamond as it is locked up. Not sure about the Tennis Court. No Swimming pool, hence the 4 stars, not 5.
My family and i really enjoyed this park. There is lots of benches to sit on that are nicely shaded by trees. The kids play area is clean and safe. Along with the kids play area there is basketball courts a base ball field even tennis courts. I highly recommend this park.
This was a COOL park! It has two separate playground areas and so the littler kids and the know-it-all bigger kids both have their own playgrounds. This park has amazing baseball fields but unless you have prior permission or the permits or ?? then be prepared to admire them from a distance. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that this park's proximity to the freeway, even with the sound wall, causes there to be a blanket of white noise that contains all other sounds to their makers immediate vicinity. In other words, its loud but loud like a fan running, constant, in the background.
