The Forest Preserve District of Will County's Whalon Lake Dog Park is an 11.9-acre off-leash dog park that provides separate enclosures for large and small dogs (under 35 pounds), in addition to a parking area, latrine, and water fountain. A permit is required to utilize the dog park. Open 6 a.m.-sunset April-October, and 8 a.m.-sunset November-March.
