Description
Founders' Park is a neighborhood park in Wheat Ridge located adjacent to the Wheat Ridge Active Adult Center. Founders' Park is dedicated to the citizens and organizations who championed the incorporation of the City of Wheat Ridge in 1969. The park features a walking/biking trail through a natural environment, a small picnic pavilion, restrooms, and a public art sculpture titled "What Has Stood Shall Always Be" by Joshua Wiener of Boulder, Colorado.
