Wheelock Library

This library is amazing. It has a ramp leading to the door along the side of the building incase your in a wheelchair or can't walk up stairs. They have a huge selection of books, and if they don't have a specific book they will ship it from another library for you. The staff are very nice and helpful. They also have a kids room, public restrooms, movies, cds, and quiet work/study area. The book limit on a library card is 100 books at a time, and Tacoma Public School students can use thier school ID for 50 books.

Been going there for almost 14 years and honestly that is the best library anywhere !! Aside from the great selection of books there are 2 librarians that are great,specifically Dawn who takes the time to help and always has recommendations that are perfect. Shout out to Manny for just being nice.

Nice and clean, organized well and the staff is friendly. They have an excellent childrens area and do storytime every Friday.

Love the staff here. Seems like they do a lot of fun events here, too and I’m hoping to check one out sooner than later.

Perfect library. Quiet, calm and clean environment. Staff are helpful and polite. It is easy to navigate. Wonderful!

Excellent local library. They have a totally different room for kids, and on Saturdays they do a story time. Fabulous librarians!

I am reviewing this during COVID-19, and giving my review based on my experience before the pandemic. The staff is very helpful and kind. From what I remember there was an event every week for teens, which was pretty cool for Mason students to hang out together. They have tables and computers which allow many people to get work done. As a library itself, there is a large variety of interesting books. Their concept of featuring new books makes it easier to browse for books. A safe, clean, and friendly library.

Absolutely love the library haven't been there in 2 years. And the place is still amazing, everyone there is very respectable. Covid has died down a lot and they still make you wear a mask which is totally fine by me! Their anime section is quite small but they do have all the classics was surprised to find death Note there but they don't have the first book.

My mom has been coming here for about 10 years. When they found out she was celebrating her 100th birthday, they surprised her with flowers on her usual visit day, and had everyone join in to sing to her! Especially in today’s climate, their personal touch was very uplifting!!

It was nice to do something I had done once a week for years. It been 1yr 3 months. The librarians were friendly and helpful and it was quiet like a library used to be I miss that I held back a star because they didn't really have what I wanted which was TV shows they had some shows that were on TV but I'm talking the sitcoms what they had was Netflix series things like that
