Whip-O-Will Campsites

I went with some friends to Whip-O-Will campground and we had a great time! The kids loved the camping experience, the pool, and the playground. They also enjoyed the Christmas in July mini-parade, it was adorable! The only thing that drove us crazy was the fact that the bathroom nearby us was under renovations so we had to go further away for the bathroom and showers. Everything else was perfect and I would recommend this campsite.

We have camped here almost every weekend this season. We love it there. Staff is pleasant ad helpful, seasonal campers are so nice and welcoming, activities weekly are awesome!! Beautiful pond to sit and relax or fish. No complaints!!Service: 5/5

The owner is racist we were playing our music just like everyone else, and he came over and said no one wants to listen to your kind of music. He made us shut it down so if you are not white stay away from this place. We would never go camping here again the experience was horrible.

Loved this campsite with tons to do and super friendly community. We did have a rough first night with some inconsiderate neighbors who partied until 7am keeping us up all night but owner assured us he would handle it and that he did! Had a great stay the rest of the weekend. Thanks!

I've now been visiting Whip-O-Will for about five summers in a row and the memories made here are among my summer favorites. No matter which friends and family tag along, everyone has a great time at the Whip-O-Will. Great campground with a lake, swimming pool, rec area, full playground and basketball court and plenty of rentable canoes and boats for your next adventure. My only hope is to one day see a tennis / pickleball court added! Maybe where the half-basketball court is? Looking forward fo making more memories at the "Whip"!

Mostly homesteaders and summer residents. Nosy helpingnot residents. Cold water paying showers. Wouldnt return.

This is a very large campground filled with mostly seasonal trailers and rv campers. There is a lot of tent camping spots as well. The Brown Group Site is a nice wooded area which several areas to raise your tent. While I am not a seasonal camper here, all the seasonal people we've encountered are friendly. The pool is large yet small. It's very well maintained with a nice concrete deck. The lake is used for fishing. One can catch small fish to bass in there. There is a quiet hour but security are friendly about it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice atmosphere. For tent campers, I would recommend those who want to be camping under the tall trees and beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains.

We have been camping with our family for 25+ years. We have camped all over the Northeast. We stayed five nights and this is the worst campground that I have ever stayed in. The restroom facilities have not been cleaned in a week. No one takes pride in the appearance of the campground . Overnight and weekly guests are not welcomed. Owners ignore noise and speed limit rules. Disgraceful!

Very quiet campground very clean. And most of the people are down to earth

We come here at least once a year. The staff is very friendly and professional. Great campground!!
