First time here. Great location. The food and service were great! I'd definitely like to return in the future. *update 8/2023* still awesome! Stopped through for my birthday. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. HUGE burgers. Bring an appetite!
First time here, and I really enjoy the atmosphere. Large whiskey and bourbon selection. We started with the thick cut bacon and the poutine which was really good. I had the burger with the pulled pork and Mac and cheese and of course I added and egg to it. The burger was really good but the Mac and cheese was cold I wasn't expecting that. The fries are good but definitely go with the tater tots.

Food was way better than expected had the whiskey marinated sirloin tips cooked to perfection. Wife really enjoyed her Jack Daniels Burger, which was huge. The drink menu was extensive but not outrageously priced, although I did pig out and get a dessert drink, so 2 entrees 2 drinks and a dessert ended up being 78 bucks before tip. Service was good. Atmosphere is nice.
A fun atmosphere with lots of pictures and murals to look at which was good since we had 2 toddlers dining with us and the service was a bit slow. The food was very flavorful. I go the tacos which said spicy but they only had a little kick and not too hot. The meals were a good size and the tater tots were nice and crispy. The pulled pork sandwiches were good and the bbq sauce was very good and unique. The mac and cheese was a bit small but very flavorful as well. Also the caramel ice cream on the bread pudding desert was very good. Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu and they had crayons to color with.
Excellent place with live music and events. When I went they had a whole pig on a spit, outside bar, and even a cover band. Keep posted with events as they come and you’re sure to have a great time.Recommended dishesPoutine
The food is tasty! The atmosphere is pleasant. I particularly like to come in for a drink after a long hike! The service is good. Not all servers are friendly but the majority are.Food: 4/5
Everything was pretty good! The mac and cheese could have been better but they took it off the bill no problem since we hated it but the dranks were definitely hitting very nicely and the atmosphere was loud but in the best way cuz me n my bestie be loud af so yes would go again the salmon nd eice dish I ate was a 8 outta 10 if they seasoned it better itd def be a 10 outta 10 will go again
Today I went to whiskey barrel for a pop-up shop event. I didn’t get a chance to eat, however I really enjoyed the setup and love how they are supporting small businesses! It definitely looked like people were enjoying themselves. I know I certainly was. Well done.
Don’t judge this restaurant from the outside at all. The outside looks like nothing to speak of, but when you leave you will have a lot of good things to say that may include: efficient staff; uncluttered seating; clean comfortable bathrooms, outdoor dining available; family dining, date worthy, large group hang out, after-work-crowd, don’t feel like-cooking; surprise-guests dropped in to spend the day-type of place to go eat. Huge bar space and hung TV’s make Singles feel at ease also. This hot chicken sandwich is a delicious full meal. I took half of it home after having some spicy sweet chili calamari and sharing the A-mazing arugula salad with goat cheese, candied walnuts and cranberries pre-tossed with a very light balsamic vinaigrette. Honestly I could have had a trough of that salad alone and been just fine. The teriyaki chicken Bowl with quinoa was good and could have been better if it was less salty. The Southwestern salad with chicken was really good according to a member of our group. There is an impressive number of beers on tap, either 30 or 50 was the number stated by our cheerful server. Was let down about the cocktails, though. Seriously did not enjoy either that I tried. I sent back the first, “Jameson Cold Brew” what the heck was that and did not have the heart to do the same with the grapefruit margarita, jalapeño-cilantro infused simple syrup thing that I ordered after. The cocktail menu overall seems quite over-ambitious with mixtures of ingredients that don’t quite go together. It might be worth the extra two stars to invest in a mixologist to put together a new cocktail menu for this fun place the locals enjoy. Or maybe skip them altogether and let the beers rule.
