Whispering Pines Campground

The friendliest campground you could find anywhere. Great owners who take excellent care in maintaining the property and organizing activities for the campers. We are seasonal campers who moved away several years ago. We are now returning to enjoy our summers at Whispering Pines for hopefully many years to come.

The park facilities and atmosphere is hard to beat! Our week stay has been an awesome camping experience with two thumbs up to the owners and the seasonal neighbors alike. The pool and access to the lake is what we were looking for our small grandchildren and dog. Thank you Cheryl !

One if the best camping experiences I have had. Went with my husband, a 2 year old and an 11 year old. From the beach to the pool everything was awesome. We played all day and even went fishing in the docks. Next time bring a canoe. Everyone is entirely too friendly and wonderful. So awesome to feel welcomed in the world right now. The owner and his family are very generous and fun. Coming back for sure

Hands down the best camping. The owners are amazing.They got us in last minute and gave us a the group site.. They kept the pool open late for our girls because it was a hot night. They were super acomidating. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Our stay was cut short due to a storm but we will be back. Highly recommend Whispering Pines.

Past owners Pike had no regard for the neighbors. It is located in a residential neighborhood. They don't police their campers and are disrespectful to the locals. * update 2018/19 new owners are respectful and are good neighbors. Keeping the property up and watching their campers. Wonderful family oriented campground. Lovely inground pool and beautiful lake. Camp sites are good sized and have electric hookup. Showers and bathrooms are clean. There are mostly RV campers and seasonal. There are 3 tent camping sites. Recreational activities and organized events. Was just there For the 4th and there was a wonderful cookout in the afternoon by the pool. Fireworks were down by the lake. Pet friendly. Had a great time and would return and recommend. Owners are a young very nice couple. They want everyone to have a good time.

This is a great campground. The people who run the office are really kind, reasonable and easy going. The pool is maintained well and the lake swimming area has a dock and the water is great for swimming with kiddos. The porta-potties at the lake area were clean as well.

Best times here... very well managed campground...amazing owners..friendly campers..just a great place to either socilaize or not if thats your thing...

Went here to check the place out for my parents and it was cute. The woman whom I spoke with in the office was very friendly and helpful. My parents did not end up staying as the only available site was too small for their coach and truck to fit but otherwise said that they will definitely be going to check it out for future.

The owners were so helpful and went above and beyond service made my family and I feel like we’ve been there for years the bathrooms and showers were excellent and very clean really awesome place definitely will visit again
