I recently bought a pair of shoes here after going to another store here in town. I should have just come here first where I knew I would be greeted by the owner upon arrival and helped immediately by the clerk in the shoe department. I left with my new shoes and a reminder to myself to go to White’s if I want friendly, helpful service.
Very kind and knowledgeable customer service. We bought work boots. Regular price at Whites was less than clearance in other local stores. On top of that, it was on sale at Whites as well making it even more affordable. Wonderful, shopping experience.
This store has been around for decades and for the most part has not changed much in appearance. They have a very good selection of boots and work wear. They even carry some specialty items for the outdoor college courses offered by the nearby Sir Sanford Fleming college. Worth a look if you are close by.
Good workwear selection for good prices. As a Fleming student, they often have gear I need for courses which I struggled to find elsewhere locally. Had an uncomfortable experience with an employee lurking very close and staring at a friend and I as we shopped for rain gear once, but otherwise they've always been polite.
Building is dated but prices are very competitive. Went in for work clothing and pants were $50 cheaper than Marks Work coats were $150 cheaper same quality. I will be back! Rather support a local business than a corporation and when the prices are cheaper for the same quality it makes it even a easier decision.
Really great quality, fair prices, good selection with many sizes. Nice, down-to-earth staff and warehouse style shopping environment where everything is pretty well visible. A great place for your clothes and shoes, plus quite a bit more!
Shopping here for about 30 years and no matter what random item I'm looking for, sure enough they have it when no other store does. The staff are always so nice to chat with, especially cashing out.
SHOP LOCAL, SAVE LOCAL By far my favourite store in town. You can get a snazzy pair of Boulet boots, a good set of bib overalls, and maybe even some hunting/shooting supplies, all in one spot and at a reasonable price. I actually just bought a nice set of Carhartt bibs and sabot slugs there last week. The price of the bibs blew the competition out of the water! Can’t complain about the service or product quality. 10/10

Always a pleasure shopping here. If you have any outdoor, hunting, or workwear needs, you need to come to White's. They also have the best selection of Country and Western wear i.e., shirts, cowboy boots, hats, etc. in town. This business has been a staple in Lindsay for generations and continues to deliver service and products made in Canada! that are second-to-none.
