White Shanty

LOVE this venue. We had our reception, ceremony, and a luncheon here and it was so great. The workers there are incredible, so helpful, and involved on your wedding day and before. It’s spacious, beautiful, full of light, and cozy. Seriously such a great space for a great price. Many options for rental decor for a good price, and you can do so much with the space for decor. Great outdoor space as well! Couldn’t recommend this place more to anyone for a wedding venue.

Steep windy staircase to an awesome little day apartment. You can rent out this apartment for the day for a bridal shower, wedding party, or grooms group. Nice and clean, has a great vibe and many bathrooms for large groups. Check it out!

I’ve loved photographing weddings at the White Shanty- it is such a great venue. There’s tons of variety for photographs outdoor and inside the venue. The loft area upstairs is a great area for getting ready.

Venue of our dreams! We absolutely LOVED having our reception at the White Shanty. Courtney, our venue attendant, was literally the sweetest and most helpful person ever! The fact that the venue has plenty of beautiful and affordable decor for rent was amazing. The indoor and outdoor space is gorgeous and so easy to decorate. Loved everything about White Shanty and so glad we chose to have our reception there. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve been to multiple events at the White Shanty from wedding receptions to large family gatherings to showers! It is a very versatile venue and I love that there’s both inside and outside space so you don’t have to be concerned about weather conditions on your day. The loft upstairs is absolutely dreamy! I would highly recommend for a variety of events!

This building is lovely. I've been here a couple of times for different celebrations and am impressed by their kindness and creativity each time.

We used the White Shanty for my daughter's wedding reception and it was magical. The space was perfect - large enough indoors to accommodate plenty of tables as well as dancing and the outdoor space was inviting and drew guests out to linger and enjoy the evening. I was out of state while planning the reception but it went off without a hitch with much of the credit going to Becca's superb communication - always responding promptly to any and all emails. I will also give a shout out to the "day of" coordinator that the Shanty recommended - Toryn took my vision and made it a reality, allowing me to relax and enjoy the day while resting assured that she had all the details under control. Thanks to everyone at the White Shanty that made this important day so special!

I helped decorate for a friend's wedding the morning of the event. This place makes it super convenient because they have a bunch of decor available for rent essentially so you don't have to bring much, if anything, if you don't want to maybe this is common these days but it's my first experience with a place like this. There were a few things where the actual inventory was different than the information provided to the bride in advance, and the workers said sometimes when people help take things down after the event, they don't realize some items belong to the venue and they end up going home with the family/friends, especially picture frames. The building looks really cool and photogenic, and there's this neat hanging giant-square of wood that the florist added flowers to, which hung above the chairs for the ring ceremony and later the dance floor. Overall it was easy, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the wedding events turned out beautiful.
