This place is bumpin. So convenient. Grab a coffee, check the bulletin board and talk with the friendly staff to catch up on the local chatter. They offer a great selection including local produce, baked goods and preserves, the peanut butter cookies and mustard pickles are our favorite : even if you leave sunglasses on the counter you'll receive a personal phone call to remind you to come pick them up. Also a great place to bring your family for ice cream. Can't say enough about our favorite country store!
Well I have lived here up the hill from the Country store for closer to 30ish years and I have seen owners come and go several times but this new owner is the real deal! No gossip daily rumor s hang out like years before it was like get through this hangout of country whanna be baby gangsters! Very relaxing and good experience as new owner keeps his store off the hook I say he will thrive with this new endeavor!!
This store is vital to our community and both Don and Rose have provided outstanding customer service. The store is stocked with just about anything you would need and even things we don't need. LOL. Life here on the peninsula was not great when the store closed for a long period. When the store reopened it was like we got a Super Store in our little domain. As a community, we need to fully support this store to keep it viable. Doug Speirs Summerville, NB
The man who sings here on occasion sucks and drives away customers. Someone please tell him to stop, maybe you'll get more business then.
