I walked in specifically for a fishing license and a 380 auto for my girl he had no problem selling me to fishing license 9 mm ammo and a case for my Tarus when I asked him about the 380 and how to break it down he had no interest whatsoever I was 100% going to buy that gun I have no idea why he just wanted me out of the store which is how I felt something simple as taking the slide and barrel out should’ve been easily shown to me he lost $400 but I guess he made 60 so that’s good very poor public relations lost a sale because of it

Im almost 40. I been going here, before it was a sporting goods shop, I remember when it was called Patchies and the old man that loved the kids say behind the counter, eventually they started with a 55 gallon fish tank with 2 largemouth bass in it, and it slowly blossomed into half a candy/convenient store and half a bait shop.. I haven't been here in 25 years, but good to see it's still going.
the owner is very helpful in getting you what you need even if it’s not in stock. he goes the extra mile for his customers. great place.
Great Place! One of the best Licensed FFL Dealers around! Also one of the only places in NEPA not price gouging because of COVID. If I'm looking for Ammo, Range Accessories or any other Gun/Hunting related item I always check with Tom before I look elsewhere.

There are a lot of classic lures and things you wont generally find at other spots shops. At least in regards to fishing. Everything was SUPER cheap which was great. The store itself was a little messy and I felt like I was being judged when I walked in. Not much of an engaging crowd that works there or hangs out there but then again it is in the woods and I know some people are put off by out of towners. I got a bunch of lures though and a guy helped line one of my reels after fishing prompton state park. I caught my largest bass of all time I think this morning so I had to indulge a little bit. They have a lot of random hunting, camping, fishing, scales. Reels, a small amount of rods, custom and classic lures. Best prices I've seen though by a long shot.
It's a great small Mom and Pop shop. Those that work there are awesome and helpful. Definitely check this place out. I found my new place to go get my fishing and hunting gear.
Great shop, great staff that will go out of their way to help you. Highly recommend stopping in if your are in the area.
hardware and sports stores are my favorites. they have a great selection of fishing tackle reasonable prices and one on one service.
