I took my puppy because she was vomiting and upset stomach. The vet ask why we were here... Just gave her updated shot. On the report it only states wellness check up. Either the vet was to busy or he really didn't care to write a report why she had her visit to the vet. They are little over priced. But I figure it was a good vet because of the good rating. But the ratings always doesn't reflect the service and care. July 23,2022. I finally was able to make an appointment, third attempt, for my dog. Appointment was scheduled today at 3:15PM. I got there at 3:10PM. They quickly put me into the exam room. The assistant came and got some info for my pregnant dog. She told me the vet will be here soon. I WAITED 35 MINUTES. Final got fed up waiting and left. No one bother to come in and tell me that the vet is being delayed. Their customer service is terrible! Do anyone know good vet in Flushing area? I am really disappointed with Whitestone Veterinary Care.
Love this vet for my dog it was my first time going to this vet and it met my expectations and the pricing for the vet is at a reasonable price comparison to other vets i went to when my dog was a puppy. you can also get your pets nails cut for the price of 26$ and when you a first time costumer at the vet you a half off your pets expenses. The inside of the vet was in good condition not crowded or disorganized and was a refreshing smell compared to other vets where inside of the vets feel stuffy. the wellness check up for the pet an the vaccines is all one price another vet i went to year ago my dogs wellness checkup was one price and the vaccines ranged from prices 60 - 70$ and up. The staff show concern the pets and are welcoming and polite , my dog was not only treated well but comfortable with the doctor as well as the doctors assistant. They take the dogs temperature in the room but took my dog to another room to get there vaccines but that was fine to because i don't think i would want to see my dog get her vaccines .
This place was great. The forest hills location couldn't see us because they never had appointments available but whitestone took me day of and really took the time to check our boy. They did everything they could but knew he wasn't well and was sick, so they suggested to go VCA. They were so compassionate and understanding, they knew VCA could give him the help he needed and sent us with everything we need to take the drive there. i will never forget how you guys took care of him. Thank you. Unfortunately my baby passed but i will consider your location if i ever get the heart to get another baby.
I brought my cat here for an annual check up and blood work because of the good reviews I saw on google. It was our first time here so my cat was a little scared but he wasn't hissing or anything. He was just curious about the environment and tried to explore every corner. They did a check up on him and it went well. They then proceeded to getting blood. Because he was relatively big 13lbs, the vet called in 2 other person to hold him down, one at the neck, one at the hips. So basically there are 4 people including me in that tiny room to take blood from him. It took maybe 2-3 mins to dig through his fur to find the place to insert the needle. By the time they tried to insert the needle, he already got uncomfortable because random people were holding him down. The vet just said come back next week, and gave us some gabapentin for him to take before the next visit. They charged me a whole evaluation and bloodwork plus the meds I don't even want. I returned the next week to complete the bloodwork. They then charged me another $200+ for that visit. I asked the reason for it because it was just for bloodwork that was not completed the week before and they said it was the whole bundle cost and the cost cannot be changed. Moreover, they did not give me a new client discount. I asked about it and they said we will reduce it on your next visit but cannot refund you or applied to the second visit for blood work. I am not sure about coming back at all. Very upset with this visit.
Excellent Vet! I have been taking my dog Jake to Whitestone Veterniary for about 5 years. My dog has terrible allergies for years we have been giving him Benedryl .We saw Dr.Wyler for the first time and he mentioned to us about this shot that would help Jake with his allergies it's called CYTOPOINT. Since Jake started taking this shot he has not had anymore allergy problems. There is so much that I could say about Whitestone but there isn't enough space. I 100% recommend Whitestone Veterniary the staff always greets you with a smile and so friendly. They always make time to answer all of your questions. Thank you everyone from Whitestone for everything.
I took my pup there on Saturday for the first time and I love them. The staff was so nice. The Doctor treated my pup with care and gave me some helpful tips on how to administer the medication prescribed to my pup. He's such a nice guy. So glad I was recommend to them. Best place I've ever been to.
Been taking my puppy there since he was a month old ,now 10 months but whenever I would call for an emergency has happened twice I've been told no appointments take him to the ER or we are about to close take him to the ER. Needless to say I have switched vets. I want a vet that has some compassion for their clients and doesn't just see them as numbers.
