Thanks to everyone who makes the Whitewater Christian Service Camp happen!
Whitewater Christian Service Camp is dedicated to the training of Youth and Adults in the will of God. In an environment apart from the world and in keeping with the principles of the Restoration Movement, Whitewater Camp will teach the Bible, preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and present the challenge of the Great Commission:
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you to the very end of the age."
- Matthew 28:19-20.
Whitewater Christian Service Camp was established in 1934 by the Christian Church/Church of Christ Congregations in the Whitewater Area.
The mission of Whitewater Christian Service Camp has always been to teach the next generation how to be better stewards of the Word of God. We believe that change is only possible through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At Whitewater, countless lives have met Jesus in their brokenness through the intentional community we offer, and through that, have responded to the Gospel, giving their lives to Christ, being baptized, and carrying on the message of the Gospel. That is what Whitewater is all about. We live to see the Gospel carried on through the next generation. The principle we stand by is that of Discipleship as taught and commanded by Jesus:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." -Matthew 28,19-20
