Description

Casual and fun, we wanted to build a kind of place that we would want to hang out in.

Our philosophy with our food menu is to do a few things, and do them very well. We serve some of the best chicken wings, burgers and hand-cut fries you will find anywhere.

Our beer selection is always changing, and we do our best to keep a wide variety on-hand to satisfy nearly any taste. We pride ourselves on knowing as much about our product as we can; So if you aren't sure if you'll like something, just ask for a taste or an explanation...or both! We love talking about beer almost as much as we enjoy drinking it!

We stopped in here for a late lunch on our way to our Airbnb. It was a beautiful September Saturday and we sat on the deck. This place is totally unassuming...its a house right on the Route. It had a couple of motorcycles parked out front but the sidewalk sign said bbq and craft beer. They had me at bbq! They had a huge list of local craft beers!! Fantastic! We enjoyed some local brews and ordered pork loin and a double smoked bacon sandwich. We substituted fries for housemade mac n cheese. Good choice!. The pork loin was tender and smoky. It came in thick slices along side a huge portion of mac n cheese. The double smoked bacon was delicious. I asked if they could throw a couple eggs on in the morning to go with the bacon on our way out of town, but alas, they dont serve breakfast. The bacon was excellent. Staff/owner was very friendly and chatted about the area. Should you find yourself enroute through this area, stop in, have some bbq and enjoy local brews and support a small biz! We would definitely stop again.
Great spot to hang with the boys. Plenty of craft beer AND Utica Club! Got the pork loin and smoky mac and cheese fresh out of the smoker. Food was delicious! Looks like an old worn out man cave, which was perfect! I wish they would put the old bowling arcade game back in service. I took a pic of the bathroom artwork. No haters , its funny!

Atmosphere is laid back and food is delicious. They have an ample craft beer menu and alternatives to traditional bar food.
Been awhile but this spot is really fun! ,nicely curated tap selection and good inside space plus a deck for summer lounging .. Food is solid and staff was excellent .,Upstate NY on Oneida Lake and we'll worth a visit.. Chris does a great job of promoting craft beer
Delicious food Interesting beer choices and drink menus! Very kind staff. You can sit outside on the deck or inside. Their wings are delicious and have many sauce choices that are to die for. They also have a pool table, darts and a bowling game.
Been going here for the last 6 years, the food and beer selection is like no other! Never been disappointed with anything I've tried. Always my number 1 choice to go too if we're going out. The owner and staff are very welcoming. Perfect little place to get away for a few hours unwind.
Great little dive bar with good food and the wings are awesome! There's a small outdoor patio with a few tables that was packed the night we went 75° night in late October. We ordered the Steak Frites... OMG, a generous portion of tender, juicy, full of flavor hangar steak on a bed of shoestring fries. Yum! And the wings are always on point too! I love stopping in for a couple beers on a snowy winter day, the staff is welcoming and the patrons are interesting. Easy to strike up a conversation as you sip your beer. Looking forward to our next visit! Cheers!
My husband and I stopped in, had a couple beers and ordered smoked meatloaf and smoked mac and cheese. Can't say how delicious the food was! Pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly and attentive and bill was responsible. Great place!
We first drove right by the Tavern, it is an unassuming blue building with a small parking lot. Going inside you'll quickly get that towny bar feeling. A comfortable place to hang with a back deck to enjoy your food and drink outside. They have a very good selection of beer on tap, including many local beers. Not a large menu, but with the specials, there is plenty to choose from. My wife and I got the Piggy Burger, good sized burger covered with pulled pork. Yum! Yum! Very good food and portion size at a great price. If you find yourself anywhere near the southeast side of Lake Oneida you should stop in.
