I called to setup an appointment via phone on Sept 8, 2023 AM time but the lady looks Spanish from her accent whom I talked to was not supportive and she disconnected the conversation without out fixing the appointment, so this is very unprofessional and mistreatment of patients. Happy to explain the situation further if you need. Thanks!
We used to love to go to this hospital even if we live almost 25 miles away. Now I am going to the most horrible experience trying to get my parents medication refill. I called the pharmacy twice- no answer or hang up on me. Called the phone to refill , one lady took all the information and said the nurse will call of course nobody call . I called again 2 times the Orange team yesterday and left voice mail - nobody bothered to check. Today I called twice the direct line for Orange team and I can not leave voice mails. Poor communication and the worce service . Looks like the only way to get the medication is to go over there in person. I hope this will be the last time to walk in that building...
TRULY THE WORST HOSPITAL IN BOSTON. They try to act good with the pediatrics but as soon as you get of age, they totally brush your health to the side. They cancel appointments and then when you try to reschedule they act as if you didn’t show up. Their dates are always months and months away especially considering THEIR cancellation. They are here to collect insurance money off the appointments you make and never actually see you. From regular check ups to dentist appointments.
I’m hear at Whittier street my daughter was not late for her appt and the came out and rescheduled appt after she paid over 20 dollars to get hear and left work early Whittier street is horrible and they don’t care the lady was on the phone I was ontime for appt the lady who was sitting at desk took her time for daughter to be checked in
I had a dental appointment with Dr. Jina Yavarifar. She was very professional, caring, and did a wonderful job on my teeth. She was very understanding, listened to my concerns and very considerate to make me feel comfortable. She went above and beyond to provide the best service. I definitely recommend visiting her again.
OBGYN midwife’s are great if you’re pregnant. Pediatric doctor Olotu is a literal angel I love her. Pedi dentist is awesome but you can’t get an appointment for months. Administration sucks for the most part and it’s hard to get someone on the phone, especially for regular adult medicine I’ve dealt with purple and orange team, the turn over for doctors is ridiculous I’ve had several over less than 7 years. If you’re sick and you’re a patient there you might as well go to a walk in clinic cuz they book sick appointments two weeks out for adults. Lots of incompetent people answering phones and don’t expect a phone call back. Pro-tip: they apparently can’t turn you away if you physically show up but I only learned that because I booked a two week out sick OB appointment for an issue when I was not pregnant and when I showed up the incredibly rude woman who made my appointment had never entered it in the system. Basically if you’re not a child or pregnant with one, you’re an afterthought.
This place needs to be shut down, 2 hours wait for appointment. Dysfunctional the staff is rude and doesn’t do their job properly and you have to wait 6 months to schedule a doctors visit oh yeahhh and you can’t walk in if needed ….WHATS THE POINT OF BEING A HEALTH CENTER WHEN YOU CAN RECEIVE PROPER CARE!!!!!
This health center is awful. The billing staff is incompetent and unwilling to learn the obligations of their job. I was told by a representative AND the billing department supervisor that “it’s not their job” to SEND A BILL to my secondary insurance. Upon informing them that Masshealth had told me they need to send it prior to that call, I was told to “put masshealth on a 3 way call”. After being told by masshealth that they do not do 3 way calls, as that is unprofessional and that the Whittier billing department would need to contact the masshealth service provider line . I called the billing department back and was told that “that’s not their job either” and that I the patient need to call the PROVIDER service line despite Whittier being the PROVIDER. Then There’s the ER staff that does the bare minimum, I went there and was told everything was fine until I went to another ER and got properly diagnosed. Also the doctors are unresponsive when you reach out and the turnover rate is so high there, chances are you won’t see the same doctor more than a few visits. I hope I never step foot in the facility again and I advise you not to either.
Customer service is Getting worse?the unprofessional staff/Nurse's. Now they only have one pediatric. They will have you wait 3 hours or More for the doctor to see a patients Ms.Mayfield is the only Doctor and she's too slow.
Once I was taken off my anxiety med from Melrose. Whitter refused to acknowledge they can see those results after I gave them consent. They kept prescribing me weekly medicine rather then monthly with no refills then wouldn’t schedule an appointment until way past the time my meds were due to be refill. Literally putting my mental health in danger for months.
