I Worked here! Besides Whole Foods Market's promise to customers to provide product held to a higher standard, Whole Foods Employees are well trained to be cleanly, organized, and helpful - I swear, customer service is too good! A couple of light cons? I, as well as current employees, believed in a union, I got talked down to by management for it - as if I were in the wrong for not giving the CEO my list of demands :/ Prices rise quick, the hot bar, for example, almost doubled in price per pound in just the time I worked there, some beef and chicken as well. This isn't just inflation - whole foods had it's best fiscal year by far 2022. Pay raises were teased, I believe to increase the turnover rate.
I'm a bit of a cripple so I need a walker to get around. It's impossible for me to use the self checkout because they do not have a hand held scanner. Kind of surprised Walmart is out pacing this place in available features, but it's been going down hill since the new owner Jeffy B took over. The store is still very clean and well stocked. The staff are all still very polite and helpful. Great produce and great pizza .
I’m very food aware and choosy but not so high maintenance that I actually *require my yogurt to be made out of organic cashews ... so I don’t go here as a grocery shopper but more like a grocery tourist. Like any tourist I am annoyingly pokey cruising the aisles and I spend more than I planned and leave fatter than I was when I came … So sparkly clean and rich with product it’s a bit otherworldly but hey …. Beautiful meat and seafood section. Local stuff and they make most of their own sausages in house! Very friendly staff. G R E A T deli area — pizza sandwich cheeses picnic items salads and snacky things ….. and best of all, because it’s all organic natural and sustainably sourced you can eat as much as you want and never get unhealthy!! ; Discount for Amazon Prime members / the Bezos tribe. Underground and above ground parking too!
A shopping experience like no other. I was in the area , had never been to a whole foods so decided to stop in. Its wonderful. I really like how they not only have ample parking out front of the store on Bridgeport Way, they also have a parking area on the backside one floor down which the spot I found was covered big plus in a city where is rains all the time. Once out of the car and into the foyer they have your choice of staircase or an elevator ride to whisk you to the main floor. The first thing inside was produce....wonderful fresh produce and quite a variety , I even saw star fruit. The grapes I bought were HUGE , sweet and delicious. The aisles thought-out the were wide and well lit. A very nice employee to customer ratio to where I felt I could easily find someone to help me if needed. A large selection of organic local foods, even fresh milk in the glass bottles like back in the day. Everything I looked at was well stocked and neatly arranged on the shelves and displays. While shopping I noticed all items including sale items had shelf tags which I like I don't like stores that do not have all their merchandise clearly price marked they also included a discount for prime member which I am. When I get to self checkout the system is new to me so I wasn't familiar with it yet but the woman working was very helpful and guided me when needed. Overall it was one of the best grocery store shopping experiences of my entire life. Do check it out if you haven't already.
It was good that various products were clean and organized. The staff were kind, too. Amazon Prime was also good to have discounted products.
Nice grocery store, well stocked. We went in looking for a very specific item and they had it - Oregon Growers Marionberry Jam. They had several flavors of it, not just the one we wanted. Their prices are a bit high, we went to Trader Joe's after and found the same item for $2 less. Still I was pleased with the store and I would go back. Very clean.
I love the selection of items from here, but have had repeated issues getting delivery/pickup orders; they leave off the exact same frozen dessert item every time. They include everything- except this one item. I’ve tried workarounds like ordering multiples, different flavors…and it always gets forgotten. I received two empty bags within my last order as well. It seems like their process for fulfillment within this department may need improvements
This is Amazon so not too many surprises. Food looks good. Place looks clean. My checker was surly, to say the least, but we all have bad days. It's the prices. Too high. Just one example, a gallon of 365 spring water has gone up more than 50% since Before Time. Price gouging nasty habit. So yeah, I shop there for convenience occasionally.
I've always enjoyed Whole Foods, back in Texas. This one in WA is too far a drive for anything more than special trips - it's become my go-to for Thanksgiving dinner catered. Since I've only been there on the day before Thanksgiving, I can't speak to what it's like on "regular" days - but it's hella crowded when I go.
This place has gone downhill. I went to the deli and ordered tacos today, and the girl behind the deli counter looked completely bored, couldn’t be bothered to ask me what toppings I wanted, and instead just stared at me through the glass. Then, she made a disaster of the tacos. She took her sweet time making them and they were more like taco shakes. They were so messy, I couldn’t eat them. I threw them out at the store and went somewhere else. They also tasted horrible. The meat was really greasy.
