I waited almost 7months before posting this review. First things. They will let YOUR mechanic check the vehicle out. I drove the truck I bought 2009 Chevy 2500HD to my mechanic in Saint Paul from their shop in Forest Lake. He had no issues with me doing this and I kept the truck for almost half a day making sure things were running smooth. This is non existence in MOST places. If you have nothing to hide then having other mechanics check things out for your customers shouldn't be an issue. 7 Months later. I have hauled a ton of material for our landscaping company. We also use this to plow. This truck is an absolute monster and has never given me any feelings of " Will this make it or when will it break down ". Another plus is this company is FAMILY OWNED. Making the experience feel more wholesome instead of just being another ticket in the line. Overall we will be 199% buying our future work vehicles from Wholesale Enterprises. Thank you so much for this truck and God Bless - Brian McDonnell
Nick is the best salesman I have encountered, very friendly and helpful no pressure. I purchased a Ford Escape recently that I love. I did have a check engine light come on, I called Nick and told him. Right away he told me to bring it back and would see what the problem was and then proceeded to get it fixed at no cost! Which he didn’t have to do as it’s buy as is, but he has so much integrity and honesty and wanted to do right by me! I cannot thank him enough! I will recommend him to family and friends Thanks Nick, your the best!! Sue
I want to start this review off by saying Nick gave us no pressure and seemed like a nice guy. He stayed 20min late on a Saturday when we showed up to look at a few vehicles. My wife and I and our two young children drove down from Duluth to look at a Cadillac Escalade and a Ford Expedition they had. They were courteous and allowed us to swap car seats and test drive the vehicles. Well, after discussion we settled on the Escalade because it was smaller and we have had good experiences with GM thus far. I appreciated Nick's patience and courtesy and even offered to cover the $120 charge for using a debit card. The problem isn't with the salesman but the product. On the drive home, within 1 hour, the check engine light came on. We have it checked and they say the codes are for the transmission and catalytic converter. Fast forward the next morning, and the vehicle won't start. We have it towed to the Chevy dealer near us. After 4-5 days they determine it is a bad ground cable and battery. They also quote $1,500 for a new catalytic converter. Fast forward a few weeks, transmission is slipping and slamming into gear. Stranding us and our two young children on the highway. The transmission was quoted at $3,900 to be fixed. We called them up about the issues and they seemed apologetic and offer $250. That was a nice gesture but in the broad sense was nothing compared to the over $5,000 of repairs it needed, just weeks after purchasing it. We were told it was in excellent condition, and was priced and purchased as if it was. We definitely did not expect a used vehicle to be it perfect shape. But $5,000 weeks after purchase is not right, and no reasonable person would be ok with that. I am now out of town for work, and my wife and kids have been dealing with this. This has financially strained us and caused a lot of stress. The opinion of our professional mechanic is that these problems had to have been known and not disclosed/hidden. Especially since they claimed to have had this vehicle all summer. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Wholesale Enterprises. Ultimately it is our fault, and I totally understand that. We should have been more cautious and less trusting. However, in the long run. I would rather default to trusting people, and risk having things like this happening. This is a long review, and if you have taken the time to read this. Please learn from our lesson. Go somewhere else.
Bought my first truck here back in 2002 when I was only in high school. It was a 1998 Ram 2500. I remember having an issue with the throttle sensor about a week later. Wholesale Enterprises took care of the issue for me. I recommend!
The search ends here! Matt and his team are absolutely incredible! Very knowledgeable and you can tell they care a lot. For the first time in my life I was asked to look under the car. What a breath of fresh air! Generally, I do the overall assessment solo because salesmen aren't stoked about you examining every little detail. Here they encourage it! They have pride in their quality work and for good reason! I left with my DREAM TRUCK for exactly what I wanted to pay for it. In addition I got a 36,000 mile warranty with labor included! I'm telling you guys, like I said, the search ends here! I spent 6+hours in the car going from one dealership to the next just to leave empty handed and defeated or like they were trying to pull one over. Now I won't go anywhere else! Thank you again Matt!
We bought a 2005 Jeep Cherokee a few years ago. Nice car but with a couple hours after leaving the lot, their was an issue with the electric windows. We ended up taking it to our mechanic to have it fixed. Fast forward to August 2018. We went back to Wholesale Enterprises and purchased a 2010 Ford Edge. We loved & still do love it. However, the breaks had a loud squeak to them. He passed it off as it had been sitting for awhile. Told us the car had been sitting since May because the high miles and a few wore out spots in the leather seats. Well I was rear ended 2 weeks later. The body shop we went to said the car had been in a previous accident. He showed us the rust and how it had been repainted. We noticed the defroster on the drivers side mirror doesn’t work. The puddle lights on that mirror do not either. One of the left side top rear tail lights doesn’t work either. That is the side the body shop said had previous work done. We trust our body shop and they have been around for over 50yrs. I don’t expect a used car to be in perfect condition or for them know every detail of the vehicles history, but I am disappointed in the actual condition and history of the vehicle. Quintin was great to work with. He helped us find an extended warranty company and was very pleasant. All of the above issues aside, I will still consider purchasing from this place in the future. I will just do my own research and have our own mechanic check it over as well.
I was searching for a nice used truck and wholesale enterprises came highly recommended by several people. I looked at their online inventory and found 2 trucks that I liked. When I went to test drive them it was a nice no pressure atmosphere and I ended up working with Matt. I decided to purchase one of the trucks and less than 20 miles down the road I started experiencing major engine failure. I called Matt and he said bring it in right away, he offered to buy the truck back or repair the problems. I ended up having the truck fixed at no cost to me and it has been great. Nice honest people and very clean reliable used vehicles.
In march i bought a 2007.5 2500 cummins crew cab long box from Matt. Had almost 300k on its from Montana has no rust had to clean some clay and dirt off but i live on dirt roads so no problem. Trans shifts great drives good he gave me a great deal on it. Worked with me on when i could pick it up and look at it. Its everything i expected form a used truck if i need any other vehicles this is where ill go.
We bought this 2015 F-450 last year... Few bugs to work out but overall it's a great money making truck for us. Thanks guys.
Horrible dealership. Sell pretty cars that have multiple problems. Purchase a Ford Expedition from them drove it home 40 miles and the car died! Called nick to tell him about it and he had someone come and get the car the next morning. We hooked the car up to a code reader that night after it broke down and 6 codes came up! Waited 3 days to hear back from them about the car after they picked it up only to find out that the car hadn’t even been looked at yet! No urgency in getting a newly purchased car repaired! Totally scam! Very shady dealership. Be smart and take your business elsewhere.
