Things to know about Soy Candles
1. A good rule of thumb is to burn your candle for 1 hour each inch wide the candle is. The candles I make are 2 or 3 inches wide so you would burn them 2 or 3 hours.
2. The first time you burn the candle is very important because it will decide how it burns in the future.
3. Always trim your wick to about 1/4in before each use.
4. Soy candles are natural since they are made from vegetable oil (soybeans). As a result, soy candles do not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere.
5. Soy candles produce less black soot which means no discolor of your walls or furniture.
6. Soy candles are healthier for humans, pets and the environment.
