My name is Ashely Pritchard. I'm a mom and a hair stylist in North Carolina who loves to create. I started making jewelry as a little girl, beading necklaces and bracelets to sell at craft shows with my mom. I moved from beading, to dabbling in pottery, and eventually to painting on canvas and mixed media art. I decided on a career in doing hair because it allowed me to play with color and different cutting techniques while making people feel good about themselves at the same time. Last fall, I made a few necklaces to give as gifts to family, and it quickly evolved into something much bigger. I had forgotten how much I loved creating jewelry as a kid, and dove right back into it again.
I've recently been blessed with the opportunity to turn my jewelry making into a small business. I make each one of my jewelry pieces by hand, and no two are exactly the same. The leather cuff designs are hand painted by me, I stamp each letter by hand on all of my metals, and I spend a lot of time picking and choosing accents for each piece. There's a quote that I saw not long ago that says, "Every morning you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams, or wake up and chase them." Wild Arrow Studio is my dream.
