Wilderness Campground

We have a 5th wheel and are here for a month. Love the site. They have great shower/bathrooms, plus cable and include a honey pot dumping 2 times a week. The office has a store with all your needs. Ice cream on Friday & Saturday. Plus pizza and ice only $2.50 for a 10lb bag. They have different activities going on each week. Nearby activities: Dundee has great food, a park by the river with a kids playground. A golf course close bye. Plus stores up on the city square for shopping. Safety: The camp site has a locked gate with special key to get in and out. Walkability: Lots of area to walk. Food & drinks: Camp store has all your needs. Noteworthy details: They have great bath houses.

We loved it here. It's great for camping with or without kids. Many amenities. Great playground for kids. Big, safe, clean pond. Fishing pond also. You have to purchase their wood. Dumpstaion on premises. And it is easy to use. Bathrooms clean. You can get a day pass to go swimming.Service: 5/5

We have been in the past to a lot of campgrounds when my kids were little mostly staying in cabins. We just purchased a camper for just us. Our kids are grown. I pulled it there myself for the first time. I was so nervous about setting it up without my husband that he was coming after work. When I got there, I have to say they were the most friendliest people They lead me back to my site and set the camper up for me. I was so relieved. I will definitely go there alot.

Beautiful place & my son's friend had his H.S. Grad party out there definitely a best kept secret about this place and all the years that I've lived in Monroe County, good times&good people, the staff is very helpful

There is a swimming lake and a playground. We got a pass for the day to swim. It was $7 per person. The beach is clean and the driveway/ walkway around the pond is well taken care of.Rooms: 5/5

Now, this place will go above and beyond to help you. I was working in Toledo, and they accommodated me way beyond what was required. Will definitely stay here again if I'm working in this area again.Service: 5/5

Loved staying here while my husband worked at the marathon plant. The workers were sweet and the campground was always very clean and so were the bath houses. The "beach" area to swim and volleyball court was always fixed nice with the tractor and the newer playground was great for my 2 little ones. Would definitely stay there again! Only thing we didn't like was no sewer but they have a dump station & offer to come pump your camper out for a small fee. :
