The other restaurant at Fairmont Chateau Laurier. We had breakfast, reservations are recommended because there could be an event going on. Buffet option for breakfast or A la Carte. Food was okay. Kid's menus available. Buffet seemed okay. Everything was plated well for A la Carter I will be frank, it is somewhat over priced, you are paying for the service and location. My A la Carte item seemed like it was just a decorated buffet item. But it was half the price of the buffet option so that was okay. Kid's pancakes were good and made well. Depending on Buffet or A la Carte, expect to spend $40 to $60 per person. If you are hungry and can eat two plates of breakfast go with the buffet, if not no point. Parking: Valet only, you will have to find parking elsewhere and walk a bit to the hotel.
Amazing experience! In a historical hotel enjoy a brunch on weekend . Quite place and professional service . Unbeatable food quality. It don’t have a lot of choices but it good cooking and different option. Seafood platter is amazing but I don’t understand they are not refill it after all the scallops gone. Good views in terraces, Staffs are polite and smile on face. 50$ each person Wine are not expensive but not many choices .
We had a small gathering on Boxing Day. The 10 of us were split into two tables of 4 and 6 side by side. Very comfortable and roomy. Our tables were on the upper level and far away from other tables. We were all having the Discovery Menu. The parents had wine pairing, and the grownup children ordered cocktails. Every course was excellent. We were very impressed with the Turkey! It was the best Turkey I have ever had! Very very tender and flavourful. The wine pairing was excellent too. The service was impeccable. They didn’t have the buffet because of the pandemic. However this Set Menu was perfect for gathering. I highly recommend it!
Ellen’s simply WONDERFUL!!! She graciously helped me and my daughter to pour bowls of scrumptious potato leek soup. Although the place was a bit crowded for Thanksgiving buffet brunch, it’s definitely worth it. Another server named Frederic was fabulous as well! In general, the food and staff here are one of the best in town. We will be back with no doubts!
Pretty solid breakfast / hotel buffet. Food was fresh, well made and tasty. The buffet was a bit pricey but I rationalized it as the price for convenience.Food: 5/5
We recently celebrated a birthday here and opted for their breakfast buffet. The service was excellent. They really went the extra mile to make it a memorable occasion for us. However, when we first sat down at our table, I noticed my coffee cup had some stains, and the placemat seemed to have remnants of egg on it. Thankfully, the attentive waiter spotted the issue and promptly replaced my coffee cup. The placemat remained unfortunately. As for the breakfast buffet itself, it was quite good. Lots of selection. Initially, I had planned to order from the menu because I typically don't eat enough to justify the buffet's price. To my surprise, though, most of the à la carte options were just as pricey. Despite the minor hiccup with the table, we would consider returning for another special occasion in the future. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.
Brunch was delicious, especially the crepes with maple syrup and the house smoked ham. Coffee very good and the service exceptional. There was no yoghurt with granola and berries on the buffet as listed on the menu but a very helpful waiter had that remedied. Can't say enough about the service!Food: 4/5
Came here for a brunch on a Sunday, and the experience and food was amazing! A friend had mentioned that they used to do an all you can eat brunch, which would’ve been amazing to try, however this was just as good! We were seated quickly with a reservation and was explained how the menu worked. We got everything on the menu, and they brought it out course by course. Something to note, you are offered one drink per person however if you want a different drink after like coffee or tea you’re charged extra and we weren’t told about this beforehand. It was a very unique experience and I would do it again for a special occasion! Highly recommend coming on an empty stomach to make the most of the food!
The service was excellent, merci Remi! Amazing buffet, great mix of traditional breakfast and fancier items. Great brunch location if you want to invite people from outside the region as it’s right downtown and the view is nice if you get a table next to a window.
Quality of food is shockingly low considering the price point. Restaurant interior is outdated, food not filled up quickly, and the taste of the food is comparable to other, cheaper breakfast buffets in 4 star hotels. The buffet food isn’t bad but considering what I had at Novotel and Westin, it is very underwhelming, considering they have much cheaper breakfast. Service is the only thing that is done better here
