Love the fact that the park is mostly shady. It has a very nice exercise trail, that I love! The groundskeepers are very pleasant and were super helpful when we accidentally left an item behind. They held on to it and we got it back safely the next day! They have cute "wild life"
Came for a visit from NY and needed to get out for a bit. Great green space with a cute playground! Went with my 17 month old so I wish the smaller child structure was bigger but the part for big kids is awesome!
Excellent park with a great walking trail, playground, covered picnic tables, grills, tennis courts, a baseball field, and a batting cage. You can occasionally get a glimpse of the beautiful horses at the farm next door. Overall a gem of a park for Mint Hill!
I have a new found appreciation for this park. I didn't know it had a trail. Walked it and found myself in a magical place where wonder and excitement lives. Fairies, wood gnomes, and John Stamos all greeted me. What seems days was only a few minutes. Very "Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" vibes. Moral of the story: Do not eat the mushrooms on the trail. Very true thing that happened while I was there - I did walk the trail and there was a dope bird in a tree see pic - some guys were repair/removing the security/spot lights and got yelled at by an elderly gentleman. It went on for a few minutes. It was awkward, but with a small town feel. Playground: Clean, in a "it's outside 24/7" kinda way.
Such a nice park to go to l, tennis courts well maintained. Nice place to go for a walk!!
8 months later my children were so happy to be able to play on the playground which is well shaded. The walking trails are wide and clear. There are plenty of parking spots, walk-in tennis courts... After each trip to the playground we make sure to take baths to get ride of germs. Yes, come with your mask on
The kids really enjoyed themselves... there is a little sand out there. So they can make a sand castle and there is a park and slides and swings. Also a trail to walk around and keep an eye on the kids. Also tennis courts out there
One of our favorite parks! Shady enough to enjoy in the summertime, but just enough sun so that we can still go in winter also. The men that take care of the grounds are friendly and helpful, and bathrooms always sparkling clean. Still out favorite!
Great little park. Wide open spaces beneath the trees with a nice walking trail through the woods in the back. Very clean bathrooms.
Great low-impact walking trail. Lots of tree canopy which is really nice during the summer. Baseball field, tennis courts, batting cage, nice playground, horses nearby. Second favorite park in Mint Hill.
