The mission of Wilkins Center for Family Dentistry (WCFD) is to provide and maintain optimal oral health care to the community. With this goal in mind, WCFD believes that the doctor and patient together become a team for treating individual's dental needs. The dedicated doctors and staff of WCFD provide optimum customer service by listening to, and understanding patient concerns responding with the best treatment options available. With the help of their professional staff, WCFD also provides patients with continued care to make sure that general pain is relieved, problems are resolved and improvements are made to better overall dental health. WCFD is committed to providing quality dental care in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
WCFD places a huge emphasis on dental care for all, caring for the community, not just teeth. Because of this belief, WCFD has been a supporter of initiatives that bring dental care to underserved populations. Since the inception of her practice, Dr. Jawanna Wilkins has been an advocate with local organizations to provide reduced cost oral health care. She's specifically enjoyed working with Medicaid, Peachcare and Amerigroup.
About the Doctor:
Jawanna S. Wilkins, DDS
Dr. Jawanna S. Wilkins, a native of Miami, Florida, obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of South Florida and her Master of Science and Education Specialist degree from Nova University. She taught in the Dade County Public School System for 8 years before attending The University Of Tennessee School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1996.
Dr. Wilkins opened her Stone Mountain practice in 1998 where she is currently practicing complete comprehensive family dentistry as well as complete denture services.
Jawanna Wilkins is the wife of James A. Wilkins and the proud mother of 3 children.
