A nice park with a loop walk, playground, jetty, tennis courts and some playing fields. A few picnic tables are also available. Plenty of parking and a dog park too.
Amazing open space in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of the city. Can bring your picnic basket and spend an entire day here. Also the boat loading facility and parking space is awesome. If nothing then just wear your running shoes or bring your bicycle for some stretching!
Good place for beautiful walks! Parking is cheap and the area seems very safe, as someone who was visiting. Good distance from one end to the other, able to see multiple bridges along the way.
Big park, generous parking and boat launch space. Easy access to the Wilamette and downtown PDX if you paddle. $5 day to park is not bad. Lots to do and see here.
Great park in SE Portland on the riverfront that I ran passed by many times. It's on the longer waterfront loop along the river and you'll find it a good change of scenery after a stretch of trail in a residential area. There are some benches, a small dog park, and I believe public restrooms as well so that can come handy sometimes.
I love twilight walks through Willamette Park. Afternoon walks through Willamette Park. Great for dog strolls/a little fetch action perhaps, tennis if you're in to that. brisk walks, runs, launches for your boat/kayak, rollerskating, biking, a playground for your tinys or even just popping by for a picnic by the river. Oh and generally pretty darn clean bathrooms
Great location walking distance from DT Portland view is outstanding has just about all varieties of outdoor activities boating motored, sailed and self propelled swimming also possible at the beach on the southern-end. Biking, walking, jogging, drone flying, tennis courts, soccer field not to mention the good old picnicking and of course children play ground. Enough elbow room for every one. Even doggies are happy to go there I smile when I see them dragging their owners to hurry them up so they can get to their own park on the northern end. Parking is reasonable at 1$/hr 5$/day for a car or 7$/day for a vehicle with a trailer.
Nice point to stop and use the rest room when cycling by the waterfront
Clean well cared for river access park. Lots of watercraft activities. Noticed lots of broken glass in parking lots, so beware.
Very nice and pretty. Huge playground for kids and groups. The waterfront is also very nice and you can do all sorts of fun stuff in the water. There's also a track, soccer field and tennis court within the park.
