Cute library!! I was there a few months ago, and Miss Nina, the children’s librarian, was so so sweet I lived in Carlstadt over a decade ago and hadn’t really visited the Carlstadt Library since then. But when I visited recently and was registering for an event, Miss Nina recognized my last name and asked if I used to live in Carlstadt. She remembered me and my siblings, even though we’d all been tiny children! It made my day to know that she’d remembered us after all those years.

The elderly woman who works on the top floor is extremely rude. I inquired about renewing an old card or starting a new one if it was expired and she immediately took on a condescending tone. I asked about whether or not certain proof of address would be considered and she began talking to me as if I were a pre-schooler, interrupting my questions and seeking to end the exchange as quickly as possible. The library requires a stricter proof of address than the DMV does for your license. Who better to work such an antiquated system than an antiquated human being?

The lady's were great in answering the question's since I moved away they upgraded the library, It looks very nice . Bye Harry

Very epicco library, i walked in and instantly got ultra instinct. 4 stars because the bathroom stank up the whole place

At the senior citizens club not the library, excellent club for Carlstadt senior citizens, many activities, trips etc

I love this library and the people there like family to me

Their Staff is So Friendly and Helps well.
