The Masonic Lodge of Bainbridge Island, Washington
Named after the public figure and Port Blakely Mill founder Captain William S. Renton, the lodge was chartered in 1879. Captain Renton himself was a member of Union Lodge #23 in Newry Ireland. His nephew John A. Campbell was one of the charter members and the second Master of Renton Lodge No. 29, Free & Accepted Masons of Washington.
Until a fire destroyed the building in the 1950's, Renton lodge was located on the south end of Bainbridge Island at Port Blakely. The reconstructed lodge is located across from the Bainbridge Island High School at the corner of Grow Avenue and High School Road.
William Renton Lodge has a monthly dinner open to the public (RSVP is encouraged) and its stated communication on the second Monday of the month with dinner starting at 6:00pm and the meeting starting at 7:30pm, except for the months of July and August.
Masons are good men who wish to become better men, and who are interested in giving back to their community in meaningful ways.
