About
We all have access to an “inner knowing” that is underneath the patterns of survival that we learned early on. This inner knowing always contains the answers to whatever questions we have about our lives.
Through gentle, slow relxation and breathwork, I guide my clients using specific questions back to this bedrock of wisdom to which we all have access. We will go on a supportive journey through their own history and time, back to when they decided how they were going to work in the world and see how those decisions are afftecting and shaping their worlds today. By slowing ourselves down, we can effectively begin to tap into that innate wisdom that we all have access to; that same wisdom will provide us the peace and clarity that we seek for our lives.
Because we all have our own answers within, I provide my clients the safe atmosphere, space and the opportunity to find their own answers.
Practicing in the model where nobody is "sick" and nobody is "well"; and that we all have our own answers within us, requiring us to slow down and become more conscious to see them. A safe, secure environment is provided where people receive professional care, learn how to live consciously, sincerely and with intent. People are active contributors in their own program. As a result, more meaningful daily activity is learned, supportive relationships are formed and living with sincerity is experienced first-hand, without "learning" it from a book or a lecture.
Schmidt Counseling offers comprehensive intuitive counseling services in a tranquil setting. Located in the centralized locale of Clawson MI, that is within easy reach of both I75 and 696 Freeways and near to many major Detroit Suburbs.
Mission
Our mission is to provide others with a still, calm and supportive environment with which they can use to discover their own answers. As opposed to "managing" a condition or symptom, interaction through first-hand experience is provided to allow one to become more conscious and aware of their own behavior patterns, thus the symptoms or conditions to gradually fade as a more practical perspective is given room to grow.
Vision
We all carry our own answers and our own truths. As children, we learn to tell ourselves how our lives will be for us depending on the environment that we grow up in. We think that's how it is for us, and rarely stop to question why we think that way. Our job is to shine a different light on that foundation that may have been built, helping to show that it may not be a beneficial way of looking at the world for us. Once we see that the way that we told ourselves isn't the way that it is, change happens from within and our external situations benefit as a by-product.
