The woman who assisted me on Christmas Eve was so helpful. She kept bringing items out to show me if it wasn't on the floor. The place was mobbed but her focus was helping me.She was great and had tremendous customer service skills.
This is a very nice high end shop which is well stocked. Pleasant place to look around for new cooking toys.
Everything is so expensive and I can find the EXACT same items elsewhere for cheaper. But everyone already knows that. What I really didn't like was that my fiance and I went to shop for our registry and no one was available to help us. I called ahead to make an appointment and they said an appointment wasn't needed. In the store they gave us a scanning gun and then we were on our own. Even when we had issues scanning or had a question about a product there were no associates available; they were all helping other customers. It was a long day and not a fun experience at all like we thought it would be.
My fiance and i Went into this store , my fiance wanted to surprise me with a christmas gift this item was the last item sold in all of williams somona. When i got home i opened the item there were missing pieces one of the control functions did not work and also looked used. When i called this store to tell the associate this was a online order that was returned. Earlier i learned from another store said that they do not take returns from online orders. When i called this store and ask what can i do why wasn't the item check to see if it was defective i got a rude answer. Yesterday i felt like i was different differently we are not from that area we came all the way from brooklyn. After purchasing a heavy item i noticed the same lady who helped us Catered to a woman who had regular light household items to the trunk of her car. I do not recommend shopping at this location
This Williams-Sonoma is a staple in our area. It is easily accessible from the main Brook 35 shopping stripping mall. I was especially impressed by the staff, who are friendly, not in your face the whole time, but very knowledgeable of the products. The store is nicely laid out, and things are easy to find. Checking out sometimes takes a bit because of the personal care that the staff provide. We come here quite often and buy a lot.
I suggest buying somewhere else. They do not honor the compare clause on their site. Every effort to show a less price on a different site was met with obstacle after obstacle. ie. Not the same color, refurbished, we are not allow to match unless with check mark on Amazon? BTY, the manager June kept avoiding the conversation I was having with the clerk. When she was asked a question, she presented a new obstacle and then disappeared in the back room. Sad, I did not buy the item. Sale of $200+. I’ll get it somewhere else.
My son's favorite beer glass is from here. And it seems that I have a tendency to break it. So I had to go replace the glass. It's fun to shop and have some very nice things.
Worst customer service ever: I went to William Sonoma one Saturday morning to buy a gift for my grandmother, a coffee mug she had wanted. I stood there waiting in line to pay when the woman behind the counter left to retrieve some glassware from the back room for another customer, understandable. Then another cashier went to her register, assumingly to check my individual item out since I was next in line, but to my surprise she took customers from the back of the line to check them out. I still remained waiting with just one item, while other people were apparently there to restock their entire kitchen received service first. I still remained waiting. The woman who initially went to the back to retrieve glassware then came back to the register and opened up on a different register, to then continue to check other customers out. Obviously, my one item was not good enough for them to waste their time checking me out. At this point, I left my sole item on the counter and left. Patience is a virtue and apparently so is customer service.
I love the merchandise that Williams-Sonoma sells. I wish that I could spend lots of time browsing. Unfortunately, though, I can't. The staff often has difficulty respecting that "I'm just browsing" means "I'm just browsing." They ask if I need assistance every few seconds. My only choice then is to leave or ask them to stop pestering me. Another problem that I have had with the staff is that they tend to call me "hon," which I feel is inappropriate. I am not their "hon," I am their customer. The correct term of address is "Ma'am." I don't appreciate condescension.
I absolutely love this store and the women that work in it. They are so incredibly helpful and will help you find which product that best suits your needs, whether it’s cookware or an electric appliance. I have made essential cooking purchases from this store, I love and find use in every item that I purchased. Both Robin the manager and Karen have been so patient, genuinely helpful and informative with that process. I know that some people would rate the store expensive or very expensive, but I rated it moderate because there are no regret purchases with the value you get for your dollar. The items I have purchased have made cooking so much easier. The Kitchen Aid 16 cup food processor slices raw sweet potatoes, potato chip thin with mind blowing ease. My Shun Kaji knives… in love! I can’t thank Robin enough for helping me select each one seven of them to purchase. I purchased one at a time with questions about the use and if I really needed it vs. previous knife purchases. Lol Vita Mix- from soup making to making my own flours, so fast. Thank you Robin for that beautiful book you suggested when I purchased my Vita Mix. Great recipes and it really helped me to get started using the machine with confidence and ease. This review is left because I actually enjoy cooking, for no other reason than the items I have purchased to facilitate that. Thank you so much ladies in the Manasquan store for being sincerely committed to helping customers. You ladies rock!
