The kindergarten teacher won't deal with anything except hitting. She calls the kids names in front of the entire class. I don't recommend this school at all. Especially coming from the Lyons Township district. It's absolutely ridiculous. They sit on the dirty floor most of the day & learn from an iPad that she puts on a screen. My child would learn just as much watching WTTW. They make the parents who pick up their kids wait outside in the zero below. This is not a good school at all. It's all disorganized. My daughter hates going to school & that's not what you want to hear from your 6 year old.
The early start program is awesome. My son went in shy and his vocabulary was very limited. The early start program has been such a help and now he won't stop talking. The staff is very welcoming and does a great job keeping the parents informed on everything. Which can be said about the entire school. My 2nd grader also loves MES.
