I am a fine art photographer with a deep abiding love of nature and all its intricacies. Whether it is a swan with a beautiful reflection in the water on my daily walks in a marsh,the awesome beauty of Yellowstone, waves crashing in the Pacific or the wild horses running thru the waters of the Camargue in Provence, France-all are subjects for my camera.
I grew up in New York City and barely ever left it till I married. I loved the city but once I started travelling found that it was nature in all its myriad forms that held my fascination. I was formerly a weaver and didn’t discover photography till midlife but quickly fell in love with the medium as it allowed me to combine my love of texture and color with my love of manipulating the final product. With photoshop and digital enhancing, I am able to recreate the beauty that I saw through my lens and perhaps add a bit more magic to it.
All prints are 13x19 printed on archival matte paper and double matted to go into a 18x24 frame.
