The facilities are actually really nice and well kept. It's $2 for a washer and $1.25 for dryers. They have bigger machines in the back that cost more but can handle larger loads. I'm giving 3 stars because they need an attendant on duty. They have cameras everywhere but it doesn't keep non laundry people out. One lady was on drugs and peed in the trash can. She left and another crazy lady came in talking to herself... Maybe an attendant would help keep some people away.
Dirty not maintained well broken down washers and duress the owner needs to reinvest in his bissness heavily ues to be a decent laundry mat going to be taking my bussnes elsewhere after this
Over half the machines are out of service.. Seems quite crackhead-ish to be honest...then again, there arent many other options here in PA...they also seem quite crackhead-ish... It is what it is as they say...
LOVE the big washers & dryers, prices are good, kept up & clean. Just no restrooms and be nice if hours where open later at night at least couple days out of week. Some, like myself work long hours of the DAY, and night is really only time open for such things as laundry.
I like the fact that there are several different sizes of washers here, as well as a couple of extra large dryers, helpful if you have a big clan, or if you put it off and end up doing two or thee weeks worth, like me. Always clean and well-lit, plus a good location, all add up to a pleasant, as pleasant as doing laundry gets, anyway safe environment. Hands down the best laundromat in town.
Everything worked actually, without any problems. However, the place itself is pretty dirty, could use sweeping.
I came in today to wash a small load. Half of the small washers are out of order, or dirty. One washer still have garbage in the drum, it's been in there about a month. One dry has a dirty bandage on it, and that been there about three months. And most of the dryers have stuff burnt inside the drum, look like gum or candy. Be nice if they clean the machines for the customers.
I am changing My review, due to a couple of experiences since My last review. First, they close at 11. I showed up at 10 pm and was told that I had missed the cut off time to do a load.... Didn't appreciate that much. Then the last time I was there, I was finishing up a good hour before closing. I got a text and stopped folding laundry to deal with it. I was asked if I could get that table cleaned off so that he could clean it...... So that aggravated me but I did as he asked. And then he was too busy chatting up the only other customer who was a female, and he didn't even look at the table he was just in such a hurry to get clean...... Just sayin
It's a laundromat. Not the best nor the worst I've been in. The recent renovations are nice, too bad some people haven't treated it well, so it's already looking worse for wear. Most of the washers appear to be new & I only saw a sign on one saying it was out of order. None of the dryers bounced open as laundromat dryers seem to do as they get older & they seemed to be fairly new too. I knocked off a star for there being no restroom for customers. I get some of the reasons for this, but it was hard to be there for 3 hours I had a LOT of laundry lol with no access to a toilet.
I have been using Willy's Laundromat for the last 2 yrs and have noticed enormous changes they have cleaned it up the best they can and have started remodeling recently to add new washers and dryers as well as making it more convenient for people to do their laundry... Also the maintenance guy is always amazing and makes sure people feel welcome and safe .. as well as makes sure there isn't a bunch of homeless people hanging around inside making it uncomfortable for the people just trying to do their laundry. Absolutely the best place in Port Angeles to do laundry if you don't have a washer and dryer.
