Willywaw is the design studio of artist Ashley Van Etten. Ashley creates handprinted textiles, serigraphs and a range of products featuring her work.
Tucked away in a light industrial building near the URI Bay Campus, Willywaw is the working studio of artist Ashley Van Etten and her husband/photographer, Joe Beckham. Ashley worked as a freelance illustrator, with a background in clothing design, before creating Willywaw. The studio primarily creates handmade and screen printed textiles. Joe is a nature photographer focusing on coastal areas, wildlife and surfing.
Our work can be found for sale at willywaw.com and we sell locally at the Coastal Growers Farmers' Market in Rhode Island. The studio keeps a season schedule, visit willywaw.com for hours.
