"THE BIG HOUSE"
Station #1 serves as the headquarters for the Wilmington Fire Department. Located at 9th and Market St, it houses Battalion #1, Engine #1, Truck #1, and Engine #31 as well as the administrative offices and support staff.
HQ is also one of 2 marine response stations. HQ Divers crew Marine 1, Marine 3, and Dive-Truck 1.
Our first due is a large part historical district with large colonial style homes as well as the downtown business district with a mix of other residential and mixed use commercial areas.
