I was called back really fast which is A good thing and that’s why I gave it tow stars. The nurse told me I was going to do a Covid test. I asked her if I had to, she said in not a very pleasant voice that I had to take it if I want to be seen by the doctor. Or he won’t see me if I don’t take it. I went in because I was concerned that I may have an ear infection and/or a sinus infection. I am not a doctor so I did not self diagnose. The doctor came in and look at my throat for less than a second and did not tell me what he saw or anything. He did not look in my ears . And then just prescribe me antibiotics and steroids without even telling me or checking if I had any affection. Nothing was said to me about the blood pressure or the heart rate. I felt like they did not care about my concerns. They were not too friendly with me.
We were treated very fast and professionally. We prefer Wilmington Health walk-in clinic over others because they have all of our records so preliminary history is minimal.
Rude staff and my doctor could not have cared less about my ongoing chest pain after my regular doctor told me to go there since it was an emergency. I still do not know the cause of my chest pain but to just “take ibuprofen”. I guess I will have to wait until it is bad enough to go to the ER to finally get an answer.
I went to a visit on 2/02/23 and the NP who treat me prescribe ear drop for my infection and the pharmacy still don’t received the prescription. And today is 2/06/23
Went back super fast, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. No wait time and got a solution for my problem. Even answered quickly when I called and asked a question the next day. Best experience I’ve had going to any healthcare provider!!
The doctor that I saw that day was supposed to set up a referral for me to see an orthopedic doctor, I received a message from that department for me to return a call to Jennifer. I’ve left several message for Jennifer and never gotten a call back. My hand is in so much pain.
Where do I begin...in summary, they ignored my mother's history of bronchitis and pneumonia, and labeled her with a virus. 48 hours later, she was struggling to breathe and was rushed to Novant ER, where she was diagnosed with bronchitis and atypical pneumonia. If only the egotistical provider would have looked at my mom's history, she would have seen that it wasn't just a virus. WHA is a poor excuse for a medical provider and they prey upon their elderly patients convincing them that their input doesn't matter. My mother begged the WHA Convinent Care Provider for an antibiotic, and she was brutally denied. She was told that it wasn't necessary and was talked down to for asking...she was told she would develop a habit with needing antibiotics...no lie. She is now on antibiotics trying to overcome the bronchitis and atypical pneumonia.
Check in was easy and I was seen immediately with no wait time. The nurse was kind and took my vitals and then the doctor came in just as the nurse left. They were rockstars!!!!
