If I could rate it zero stars it would be highly deserving. Took time off work, drove an hour+ just for us to walk in and get told - "We actually don't have the vaccine you need, they all expired June 1st and we have no idea when we'll be restocked." Now I get to drive over an hour back in RUSH HOUR... not happy to say the least.
Best pharmacy ever! All the staff members are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They always go above and beyond to meet my requests. I would highly recommend them!!
This is the worst pharmacy every!! No one speaks to each other. Daughter to have med compounded and delivered every tue and only 3 times did it get done in 6months. Called to follow up every time and given a different story about how it’s not their fault even though they do all of it in house. Had it and moved to another pharmacy. Don’t waste your time. Seems unless you have been going there for 40 years they do t care about you at all.
Best pharmacy in Port Coquitlam!! Raj especially is super helpful and the customer service there is great.
I have been a customer of this Pharmacy for over forty years; although management and staff have changed through time, they always hire awesome people. They understand my medication tolerances and are very careful in giving me information to make sure the medicine has the proper effect. The reviews and update services provide have been very helpful in understanding my prescription needs. Thank you to Wilson Pharmacy!
Poor service, missing prescriptions, lost faxs from doctors. The place has gone downhill over the years. Updated: I have been back picking up the last refills I have with this place they dropped a prescription in my bag that I stopped taking beginning of this year and charged pharmacare after I told them few months before I no longer take that prescription. Then they told me I had to pay for a prescription as it's not covered until I told them it was covered and always has been until they went to the computer and came back saying oops it was. I found out when I got home they had already charged pharmacare before they tried to make me pay. I have phoned pharmacare and reported this and will be filling a complaint against them so they will be investigated. I would advise people to check with pharmacare to see what medications they say they gave you.
My son, who now lives in Vancouver, chooses to continue to have Wilson Pharmacy fill his prescriptions, as they have done for 26 years, because he trusts they thoroughly understand his chronic health condition and medication needs
The staff were very nice on the phone when I called for my initial inquiry, and were extremely knowledgeable about travel vaccinations and protocol when I arrived. They were able to give me the vaccines I needed on the spot after my consultation and went the extra mile to print and give me some additional information for later. After hearing many horror stories from others about the 'big chain' travel vaccination places, I'm glad I went here where they genuinely seem to care about their patients. :
What a find! I phoned over 20 pharmacies in the GVRD to price yellow fever vaccinations. Because of the worldwide shortage of this vaccine, most places were only giving half doses which were good for a year only. The price averaged about $170. Travel Clinics were charging about $140 for the half vaccine, plus a "consultation fee" of $60. Blatant gouging was obvious. Wilson Pharmacy, however, charged $77 for a full, life-time dose of the vaccine and instead of a "consultation" gave me a one-pager that outlined the possible side effects. Arthur, the 23 year old Doctor of Pharmacy, who administered the vaccination, was punctual, professional, and personable. And I hardly felt it! Wilson Pharmacy with its great service and honest business practices in a gem.
Very disappointing. Pharmacy employee spoke to me about my prescription, out loud, over the top of the shelves, in front of other customers. Sharing the name of my medications with other patrons in the store is not only inconsiderate, it is a complete lack of regard for my privacy. I will not be back.
