Former candidate for deputy in Les Cayes/ Ile-à-Vache, Poet Wilson Thélimo Louis was born in Anse d'Hainault and raised in the South of Haiti. During his childhood, Wilson developed a passion for social activism and community volunteerism. He is a mentor, author, social communicator, and a student in legal studies at the University of Haiti (UEH). He has experience as a field worker and supervisor at Volunteering for the Development of Haiti (VDH), and he is a founding member of the Haiti National Network of Young Volunteers (RNJV-Haiti). Wilson is also the administrator of the Haiti Institute of Technical and Professional Training and the director of marketing at Télérik 9 television station. In addition to these activities, Wilson is also a program host at a local radio station, a curriculum developer for the Health and Information Program, a volunteer at the Haitian Red Cross, an active member of his church congregation, and a delegate to a national advocacy organization for handicapped individuals.
