This area, being the largest lakeside campground, includes 160 tent and trailer sites.

Description

This area, being the largest lakeside campground, includes 160 tent and trailer sites. Campers have access to electricity, coin-operated washing machine, clothes driers and hot showers. This area has a general store, dock rentals, gas dock, launching ramps and picnic area.

With a children's play area, a swimming beach adjacent, and a new 2-mile Lake Trail available, your family will never run out of things to do on your trip. Pets and swimming are NOT permitted at recreation area.

Slip docks are available for rent boat sewage holding tanks can be pumped out for a fee. Make a weekend out of your time on the lake. Come enjoy a day on the lake.

Love it.. Enjoy it every time. You can dock your boat and leave it in the water for a fee or take it out. Restrooms: Clean Restrooms And showers
We have had our boat on a slip here for years and are very lucky! We’ve met some very friendly people here and made great memories. Facilities are always clean and there is plenty of parking, even on the busiest days. Such a plus that you have a gas dock! Hoping to make many more memories here for years to come.

Been coming here since I was a kid Lots of fond memories... You need to love camping, hiking and water sports because there isn't much else to do You have to pay to use the beach And a separate fee to launch and dock your boat
My family and I spent the weekend camping here, we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly, individuals were cleaning up the campground throughout the day & always made sure to say hello & make an extra effort to engage with my children & say hi. The kids especially enjoyed the playground and swimming in the lake. We took a few walks around the campground and most campers keep to themselves but said hello or good morning. Early in the morning you will see joggers, moms with baby strollers and hikers. Looking forward to visiting again!
Wilsonville Recreation area is owned and operated by PP&L. Thete is a campground for seasonal and daily and weekly camping. There is a marina which contains seasonal boat slips and a campers boat dock for short term camping. I have had my boat at Wilsonville for over 20 years... and still have not gotten tired or bored with this Lake. Nice restaurants close by just a nice place to visit, boat a d camp.

Great campground. Awesome boat access to Lake Wallenpaupack.
Nice area so far. I called 4 or 5 different places for dock slips and this was the only place that offered them. There may be others but they were not any that I called. Easy access to the lake and nice area for the family to spend some time. I would recommend for anyone visiting.
Nasty attitude. Infested with New Yorkers and other undesirables.
