Reasonable prices. I love the bulk food section. I can get as much or as little of flour, pasta, herbs, spices, coffee, chips, or candies as I need. A jar of dried basil could cost at least $2.50 else where, but the same amount is less than 50 cents at WinCo bulk section.
By far the best place for big family shops, and impulse buys. We love the bulk section especially. They keep it well maintained and the bins are nearly always full. Our favorite cashiers are super fast and friendly.
Lots of choices, shelves were well stocked and even though it was very busy we didn't have to wait too long in check out lines. I do like that I can purchase different kinds of rice in bulk. We got a decent amount of food for what we spent.
I generally like this store. UPDATE from 4/20/22 review I am HaPpy to report that Winco has added more cashiers, the extraordinary long lines are history, they heard the complaints and suggestions and endeavored to improved services vastly. I hope my comments only helped to improve things. Kudos to Winco! Now let me tell about the bulk foods area. Ever needed just enough of some exotic ingredient to prepare just one new a recipe? Need Turmeric, cajun spice, white pepper; a extraordinary pasta, all sorts of flours and grains, you can likely get it a small or large amount at Winco bulk foods area. There are all sort of nut candies and snacks too.
Not only are they open 24/7, but the selection of foods and low prices are second to none. You'd have to go to 3 or 4 different stores, to get all the items they offer under one roof. My last grocery trip would have easily cost $75.00 or more had I shopped at one of the big 3. You'll want to dedicate a couple hours the first time you go because that's how long it will take for you to go up every isle.
I like getting most of the things I need here. Just because it's a little less expensive than other stores. I will say I do get my meat and some produce some place else. There is a wait in line to check out especially later on in the night but there is a great checker that I believe works graveyards. And she is a gem!!! She tries and gets people through as quickley as she can. I appreciate that!!!!
Great selection and even better prices! I particularly like the Deli's variety of chicken salads all of which are gluten free and the gummie/glazed nut selections in bulk! In fact, the only bad thing about Winco is that it ruins the shopping experience at any other grocery store with its absurdly low prices!!!
Great place to get groceries. The customers can be kind of bad at times. The staff are always pretty cool though. Wouldn't recommend for a quick shopping trip. This is where you go to get groceries for the month.
Good quality but my surprise I paid less and I got more products. Real savings, friends from Bellevue Everett and Ballard drive to aurora av in Seattle to save money. They can believe how much groceries can they take home.
Size: warehouse Vibe: good for big family sizes Cash and debit accepted Good verify but limited to some specific items. Overall less expensive than other competitors for sure I give them 5 star for keeping the prices low and decent.
