Pretty good produce store. Stores a lot of bulk items, but without the "cost co tax". Had a variety of organic and health focused options as well, and a singular aisle for foreign foods.
I’m really bummed out because I’ve been waiting for a reason to check out this store, and tonight was going to be my opportunity. I was hoping to pick up a missing ingredient for a late night baking project. I drove to this location AND the location in Mesa and both stores were closed without any warning or good explanation. Just a piece of paper on the door that said “closed for maintenance”. Was this bad timing or are they just unreliable?
It's a WinCo's, which means you clean stores, wide aisles, helpful employees, debit only payments and pretty good selection. I have only been to a few but come away satisfied. This store was quieter than others but it could be because of weekday Holiday season effect. The best part is probably great bulk good selection and water refill prices. The store brand items could do better job of replicating the taste, and an aisle directory or more visible aisle descriptions from various angles could help but those are minor area for improvement.
If you enjoy sugar free or no sugar added sweets, check this place out. They usually have no sugar added apple and pumpkin pie, sugar free lemon loaf, blueberry muffins, oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. Plus, in the bulk food area, they have quite a few sugar free and no sugar added chocolate candies and gummies.
A huge store with all the grocery items I need at great prices. Their own in-house WinCo products are as good as the name brand and offer considerable savings.
Today, September 5, 2023 I visited WinCo on Pecos Road in Gilbert. I normally get the service! Instead today in self check out, after asking a simple yes/no question, I got a two paragraph answer that was ignorant, confrontational, unprofessional and didn't answer my very simple question at all. This Woman's energy is the type that I absolutely avoid at all cost. Sharing this is helping me to escape her negative energy.
I enjoy shopping at Winco...great customer service, always have what I need and looking for in stock, great quality produce, and no one beats their prices!! I am a forever Winco customer!!
So glad i stopped by WinCo the savings are excellent ... Pork butt roast was $.98 lb compared to Frys $ 1.79 lb. I also found lots of holiday lanterns.
