Windjammer City Beach Park

Usually this park is my go to park for early morning coffee and peace and quiet and serenity... Not this morning of 8/27/2023! Some religious organization setting up and doing extremely loud sound checks...AT 8 AM ON A SUNDAY MORNING!!! Incredible! I went and complained to someone there and they said it is written into their contract that they can begin at 8 am. I doubt whether the contract specifies a sound level though...it was loud and definitely NOT peaceful...had to just drive away. Cannot believe the local neighbors arent angry about being awoken at 8 am on a Sunday! I must be getting old, I just cannot tolerate these kind of early morning sonic assaults

A wonderful place for a good time with the kids and family. Open snack bar with live music and games. Enjoy a beautiful walk on the beach, or let the kids play in the water park.

This place is absolutely amazing and beautiful. Very clean and well kept. My two dogs love going there even if they do need to stay on leashes. There are at least two children's play areas, and an adorable book walk.

Great place for sports or just hanging out grilling with friends. Also has a splash pad for kids and grown up kids....several seating areas along with benches and huge cement seating areas. Dogs playing. People kite flying sometimes wond surfers are in the lagoon did I mention it has a lagoon?...check it out next time you visit Oak Harbor....

This park is awesome. My daughter loves playing here and splashing with the other kids. Just remember some parents don't watch or have good control of their kids, so be careful.

One of my favorite places to walk my dog. Love the view and watching and the birds. Playground: Water park for the kiddos on a warm sunny day Restrooms: Portland Loos Dog-friendliness: Great place to take the dog for a walk. Picnic area: Lots of picnic tables throughout. Some covered.

Its big and has lots of space. View is probably best for Oak Harbor. Has kitchens you can reserve, but only 2. Has a kids water park which seems pretty good in the summer. Could be so much better IMO. Dog-friendliness: Must be on leash. Picnic area: Only two areas to reserve looks like.

Love this little beach and park! Great place to play pokemon go! Walk on the beach, play on the playground, walk for exercise, or even build a driftwood beach house!!

We loved it! One of the amazing parks we saw while returning from Orcas island to South. We are not sure if the park is new but great ocean view, kids enjoyed playing in park, water. Accessible easily from highway and lot of options for food near by.
