I was very happy with this hospital from the ICU to the surgical floor. This is one hospital you can leave your loved ones overnight and know they are being taken care of. We had a few different nurses in ICU and all were great. When we got to the surgical floor we had Racheal and her student Brenda. What an amazing and caring team. These nurses are overwhelmed and it never showed. They were so kind and so caring. This made my father's stay here bearable. I have been to other hospitals and was not expecting this king of care and kindness. Adam was the evening nurse and he was also very kind and took good care of my father. These people are truly meant to be in the field they are in and I can not thank them enough. The hospital has a big cafeteria downstairs with good food and lots of seating. The parking can be difficult at times but if you are patient you will get a spot. Buy the tokens for $30 if you are there a few days! Tim Hortons only has pastries, donuts and coffee not lunch / dinner items are available here. Overall I was very happy with this hospital.
Excellent care and service in the Neurology department on the 8th floor. Thank you Alex, Dana, Hailey, Micheal, Carol, Cindy, Sam plus the many others with Dr. Naeem. As a show of gratitude I donated two books that I authored called Post Concussion Brain Empowerment to the ward to assist those who are recovering from brain injuries or neurological problems. This was a positive experience especially when I was going through so much pain with my neurological problem. Thank you to this valuable 8th floor neuro department.
i was only there 4 hours which is understandable, was in waiting for 20 minutes and was brought in for testing, saw the doctor almost immediately, my nurse i beleive her name was Wendy, was super helpful, had a couple laughs with her and she made the wait a little easier for me. Also the triage nurse was so nice and made good conversation, these people have to live through hell on a nightly basis and they all did it with a smile!
Kudos to the staff from the beginning to the end in patient care. Great communication and knowledge of the whole process of my knee surgery. Thank you Dr. Bisland for making your patients feel like they are the most important person in the hospital
This is for David Musyj. He is a kind, compassionate, and awesome person. He is a true mental health advocate. He has helped me in so many ways to get me seen and heard through my positive messages. I owe him many thanks and wish him continued success. This shows the kind of class this man has. I am beyond grateful to be in connection with him. God bless you.
Super organized, very efficient from beginning to end in the process of having surgery. Hard working, intelligent, caring, amazing staff that put their whole heart and soul into a neverending need. There are too many staff/positions to fully acknowledge the depth of gratitude I feel about all, but definitely worth their weight in gold. Great job WRH Ouellette Campus!
Had to see a specialist. Check in was quick. Wait was short and seen the specialist in a timely manner. Was in and out in less than a half hour. Very happy. Everyone I spoke to was courteous and helpful.
They MH will understimulate you. Won't evaluate you and will take every liberty when making sure that every bed is filled for as long as they can ensure others that they need to keep evaluating you. Do not stay at this hospital if you do not have support that will make them think twice monetarily for the consequences. There will not be any if you don't have any support. You get a yeast infection from the place. They will try to break you down like dr. Cameron who performed the MK-U experiment and in the time I was treated there it was a horrible example of what human decency can look like.
If I could give zero stars i would. I was disgusted and disturbed by the lack of compassion and professionalism I witnessed on the 7th floor while visiting a patient. I've never been so disappointed in our healthcare system.
