My husband and I had an amazing dinner with unparalleled view of the vineyards! We dined on the outside terrace, which we recommend, weather permitting. Lovely ambience with strings of lights. The courses were creative, diverse, and well priced. We will definitely come again!
Incredible food! Some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Now imagine your sitting at your table enjoying your first course and then somebody yells at the top of their lungs, “Dessert!!” So much for the atmosphere. Why anyone would think it’s OK to yell anything that loud at a nice restaurant is far beyond me. The waitress I think Casandra was her name was rushing us through our order and seemed very impatient. When I got the bill I realized why. A 17% tip is included in your bill. She had no reason to care about the quality of her service to the customers as she was getting her above average tip no matter how bad she was. I will add the service was slow. We were seated at 2:10 and left at 4:30. I would definitely return for the fantastic food but would ask for a different server and ask to be seated far away from the guy yelling dessert every few minutes.
Food was fantastic. Had lunch there and the food was just amazing. Building is iconic, never thought we had buildings like that one on the West Coast. Service was very good, food was very good, location is great in the middle of St. Helena and prices are adequate. You have to try the chocolate-peppermint cheesecake, worth going back there just for that. Well done!
An experience, not just a meal. Watch as the most promising culinary talent prove their mettle, tableside. The open kitchen is attraction enough, but the flavors are indescribable, and this is a bargain, Napa-style, with four course meals starting around $50 per person.
Try to catch a day when the chefs not the students are running things. Seasonal Pear Bellini and Pear cocktails are to die for. The wait staff and bartenders provide top notch service. A must try.
Very enjoyable meal here as part of my week long bootcamp cooking class. Love the open kitchen to get to see all that is going on.
another destination dining experience in the wine country. food is superb, service spot-on, and location wonderful
Excellent chicken confit. Seems like it'd be boring but they did an excellent job making it moist on the inside with a perfectly crunchy skin on the outside.
A little pricey, but everything was very good. A dimly-lit romantic atmosphere, but still with good energy. Service was friendly and helpful.
Always an enjoyable meal here.
