Located in Stone Ridge Plaza, just off the beaten track in downtown Belle River is a lovely little store for homemade wine. The business has been around for a number of years but this is the first time I have been at this location under the current owner, LouAnne. My daughter-in-law and I purchased 3 varieties of wine and went in today to bottle our purchase. LouAnne is very friendly and extremely helpful from selection, through production and as well as guidance for those unfamiliar with the bottling procedure. She makes you feel at home and comfortable in her store. The price was very reasonable and even included labels and shrink top caps for the bottles other stores charge extra. If you have not purchased homemade wine before, it takes about 30 minutes to bottle a batch of wine. Whether you are looking for wine for a special occasion, the holiday season or perhaps just some Summer time refreshment, remember - Wine Works! I highly recommend them.
