after reading reviews on hotel, I was hesitant. But I found the hotel to be very clean, I had a 2 queen room, had a fridge and microwave. The hot breakfast was awesome....scrambled eggs, bacon, breads and muffins, waffles, cereals, hot coffee and several juices...and more...this is one of the important things, as I didn't want to find a restaurant. Also there was a Mexican restaurant right next doordidn't have time to check out. I will definitely stay here again. Oh and the location is near shopping center, walmart and more. We did arrive before 3, and the hotel clerk let us check in at 2. Very nice experience, would highly recommend.
I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews on this hotel. Very clean, maintained and friendly hotel. The rooms and hallway were not musty smelling they were clean and stocked up with essentials. The breakfast included had bacon, eggs, waffles, cereal and many other things and was very good for being hotel food. If we’re in the area again we will definitely be staying here. 100% recommend.
I stay here each time I am in town. Price is just right. Breakfast could be better though. UPDATE 08/11/23 Get better tasting instant scrambled eggs. The bacon was great. I would also get a new toaster.Rooms: 5/5
This place was an absolute joke. The only good thing was that it was close to the place we were going to. I have never been to a hotel that didn't have blankets on the bed, what we had to cover up with was essentially sheets. Worse then that there was a terrible smell in the room when we opened the door, it smelled like musty sweaty people had stayed in there and they just straightened up after they left instead of cleaning it. To make matters worse when we told the people at the front desk and she came to check she said she didn't smell anything. Then when we just looked at her she changed it to it smelled like popcorn, what popcorn she making idk because popcorn I make don't smell like that. The beds where rock hard and made it absolutely harder to get any rest which sucked because we had to be up early. They only had 2 carts for luggage which again I've never been to a hotel like that. How do they only have 2 carts makes no sense. And another odd thing they only had 2 elevators. They could have at least had a group at each end of the building but nope they were at one end and they were so incredibly slow. The only good things I can say about this place is that shockingly the shower spray was stronger then most hotels I've been to and one lady at the front desk was really nice and friendly. I will not use this hotel again.
The only good thing about this place is that it’s clean . although very important I don’t know how in 2023 this place is this outdated. The shower fixture feel like it’s coming off the wall when you go to turn on the water . All the caulk around the tub and sink is cracked or missing . Didn’t use the tv much but it freezes so long you forget that it’s even on. Booked the room for a family of 4 and SURPRISE there is only towels for 3. When my wife goes to ask for a extra set at the front desk the girl is hesitant to give a extra and insinuates that she would have to bring a dirty set to swap out for a clean one . Took my kids to the pool and there are no towels ??? And there’s a weird sign that says if you get in the pool with your clothes on we will have to close it - that sums up this place . Good thing is - it’s close to the nutter center
Overall the stay was good. Stayed in a Double Queen Deluxe Room that included a sofa bed. Our room overall was pretty clean. I did notice when we arrived that the outdoor trash can was overfilled. Came across a glass bottle in the grass on the property. On the floor that we were staying on, by the ice maker was another trash can and it was overflowing. We went to collect more towels after using our room towels as our towels to dry off at the pool. The gentleman stated that different towels were supposed to be used for the pool room. None of that was stated along with the other notes on the pool room door. Some of the bed pillows were small. They remind you of throw pillows on a couch. Breakfast was decent. Everything appeared clean including the tables and chairs.
Furniture a little old and cable T.V. kept going out. Air conditioner was leaking water and was turned off when we entered the room. Front desk staff was awesome!Rooms: 2/5
I would recommend. No issues! Clean and friendly. The only area of concern was that the bacon was barely cooked almost raw and I need to use the room microwave to complete cooking it. Breakfast spread was AWESOME.Rooms: 5/5
The rooms are clean and the showers are hot if slightly lacking in pressure. When we checked in the refrigerator in our room was not working so the desk clerk immediately offered us a new room. Noteworthy details: The hotel is close to the interstate and about 45 minutes from Cincinnati, but the AF base is across the street. There is a grocery store, a home depot and several franchise food chains all within walking distance.
