Winn-Dixie

My favorite Winn Dixie. Very clean, well organized and all departments have fresh products. Associates are always willing to help customers if needed and are very friendly. Cashiers are kind, accurate and bag your merchandise accordingly.

Fresh fruit and vegetables. Wide variety of items. Great bakery items, and the apple pie is delicious. Also, their croissants are the best compared to other grocery stores in my area.

I always go here because they have good discounts and i know exactly what I am going to pay every time so it helps me budget. One thing tho.. always check expiration date on things. I had to get a buch of hummus 3 months expired and give it to the manager. The manager a fat white lady is terrible! She treats the employees very badly in front of customers. She is so getto and this store is located in a good neighborhood so we dont like that over here.

Neat grocery store that seems to be in a safe neighborhood. It was refreshing to find someplace with plenty free parking spaces and less drunken chaos! Lots of options and variety. Comparable to something between a Thriftway and a Dillon's back home. We had fun doing our grocery shopping here. We had always wanted to visit because of the movie named after this chain.

I like Winn Dixie. Come here instead of wal mart now.i always look for sales n on meat the most. If you want real good ground meat buy couples of roast n get butcher to ground up 2 times. Cheaper than there ground meat n way better..MAKE SURE ROAST IS ON SALE

Been a while since I have shopped at Winn dixie Nice store great staff BUT prices are wat to high I can get same items at cheaper prices with some of the local chains

We purchased a last-minute birthday cake from their deli/bakery. The cake was chocolate with purple buttercream frosting. It was DELICIOUS!! Everyone kept asking where we bought it. Also, their Coca Cola distributor had a big watermelon display made from Coca Cola boxes in the front of the store; from the right angle it read SUMMER too. Cool stop, great cake!!

The store has a good variety of items and it’s good if your a member there. The only issue that I have with Winn-Dixie is that if your not a member and you don’t shop there frequently, maybe only on special occasions, you might find these items a little overpriced. I also recommend that if you do not have an account with them, it isn’t the best idea to use the self checkout, since I had a lot of problems with it. Overall, good store Hope this might help some of you

Store is well stocked and clean. Great selection and good deals on some items. One star is because the checkout cashier was horrible. Rang up $150+ in groceries and then said “bag it yourself.” I have no problem bagging my own groceries but tell me up front and there were no bags for me to access one bagging station behind the cashier. My wife said ok, can I get some bags? “I ain’t got none” as they are right behind him that only he can access. So my wife awkwardly walked to an empty cashier station grabbed some bags and bagged about 20+ bags of groceries while people waited in line. Unfortunately I wasn’t there otherwise I would have asked the manager for some bags. I’ll skip Winn Dixie on Belle Chasse next time and just go to Rouses so I don’t have to put up with nonsense.
